Works great!have been using fir (far infrared) in other health related devices for 10 years. but have always used conventional convection heaters, never a fir heater. honestly, was skeptical how well it would work, but now surprised at how well it works. even when 32 degrees outside and no other heater on; it keeps a 350(ish) sq ft room good/comfortable. it is a very different feeling from having conventional hot air blowing on you. (just FYI it uses/sends far infrared rays which work with your body to keep you comfortable/not cold)pros:· no fan/absolutely silent· has timer that can last up to 24 hours· has a built in inverter function (smart tech for energy saving)· has a small and convenient footprint (light weight)· works great in 350(ish) sq ft room (says it can work in larger room)· easy to set up and has remote and app (if you like)· 110v (common residential outlet)cons:· can be pricey compared to common convection space heaters· front metal screen gets hot to the touch

The seller claims this product is an infrared heater, but after running tests, I am convinced it is nothing more than a standard convection space heater with blown out fan sold at a significantly inflated price. The infrared claim appears to be misleading and does not work the way it was described by the seller.In addition to the questionable marketing, the heater presents serious safety concerns. The exterior surface becomes excessively hot, posing a risk of skin burns. You definitely don’t want your kids or pets around it. The unit is also unstable and can tip over easily, which could lead to fire hazards or burn injuries.

I have 2 of these and so far I am extremely pleased. Yes, they are pricey, but I feel they are totally worth it as they are the best space eaters I’ve ever owned.The remote with remote temperature sensor is a great feature. The app is well designed and intuitive, with all the features you want. The radiant heat comes on quickly and heats up by room very effectively, and silently. The inverter feature that throttles the power output is much better than typical space heaters that just switch power on and off and cause greater fluctuation in temperatures. They look great, they seem solidly built.

First of all...4 stars because we've only had it a short time, so durability is unknown. That said, this mica heater is a winner for us. We have a large bedroom that, in winter, is chilly at night despite our central heating. Rather than run our utility bill up by turning our thermostat up high enough to keep the room warm at night, we decided to try space heaters. Most of them either didn't do the job, or had a plastic smell (because the heater was plastic), to say nothing of the fan noise they created. Enter the Ballu mica heater...quiet (no fan) and EFFICIENT!. Our bedroom is warm, we fall asleep faster and remain comfortable all night. If the Ballu has good durability, it deserves a 5-star rating. Very happy with this heater. One more thing: I had a question about the heater and contacted Ballu support. Got a reply in less than 24 hours, so customer response appears very good.

The unit is able to heat my bedroom without any hiccups. The sense function works well. I would recommend that everyone to start heating the area before entering the space.I have woken up today feeling all warm and comfy, but leaving the room I was in shock from the "cold."For adults there is absolutely no worries about a so called hot unit, maybe the ones who have given warnings of burning have not encountered true heat.At 75 to 80 degrees, I can touch the unit physically without pain or the "burn". A pot of hot water heated on the stove scolds beyond the Bella pro. As a safety precaution with children, I would definitely mount the unit to the wall. I mean, Bella already accounted for mounting and the hardware is given. The mounting rails are preattached which is awesome.The question is now how far is the chase towards the German made one?Thanks for the keeping consumers in mind while R&D does their magic. All in all the warranty has been extended, a true backing to the Pro unit.__________Be warned the lcd dims after usage and develops dead pixels. Returned should have went German.

I have mixed feelings about this heater. For the heating ability it will not disappoint. I hate heaters that blow air so I ordered this one for my RV. As you all know that RV's have limited space and this was perfect as I was going to hang it up on the wall but haven't done that as have it sitting next to the wall and the wall behind it gets very hot and it is hot to the touch, not so much the front, it is still hot but the back is really hot and will burn your fingers. I like the wifi function and no issues with connecting works just like a NEST in your home. You can program to turn on hotter in the morning when getting up so it is warm before you get out of bed. so programing is very nice. I know it is a heater and suppose to get hot but when moving it and if you touch the back you will burn your finger so that make me worried. I dont have little ones but something to think about if you have small kids but if you are looking to say warm without a fan heater, this is perfect for you.

Love it, love that you can control from the app on your phone. I use it in the small house/shed in the upper yard so very convenient.

Don’t waste your time or money. This device doesn’t work at all. Temp on device is fixed to say 70 degrees but room was well below and didn’t warm after hours. Device also requires you to connect to your WiFi, to which interrupts your internet service.
