Based on the 1 and 2 star reviews, I decided to wait a month before I gave my review. I am very satisfied with the phone’s performance and its easy of use. The transmitted sound is clear, and the received sound is also clear. Vtech also provides a printed User’s Manual, which is a rare thing these days. All that being said, I do have a few comments.Photo #1 shows the Vtech shipping carton as received. Fortunately, there was no damage to the contents inside. But Amazon decided the Vtech carton was adequate for shipping and didn’t require their carton.Photo #2 shows the hand set mounted in its docking station, and it’s a very nice-looking presentation, if you do not include the wall mount. Photo #3 shows the hand set in its docking station using the wall mounting attachment. Pretty ugly! To further make my point, Photo #4 shows just the docking station and wall mount. It appears the wall mount has a multifunctional application, as suggested by “A” arrows pointing in one direction and “B” arrows pointing in the opposite direction. As a cost savings, you now notice the ugly wall mount and not the attractive phone and docking station.

EXCELLENT phone! I am still using it since I bought it- cell phones don't work here in my mountainous property, so this phone is perfect! I was really impressed with ease of set-up andI love that it lights up orange to see the numbers to press! Feels good in the hand- not heavy. Excellent range for a cordless. TEN stars and it came perfectly boxed to protect it! FAST shipping too! I love this phone! I love that is has an answering machine on it , too!

House phones in our Florida house are hard-wired and have stopped functioning except for one phone set plugged directly into the modem. No others work. I called our ISP (Spectrum) and talked to a Tech Staffer of theirs in California as it happened. Best Tech I have ever talked to. Great answer. "If our technician comes to your house and there is a wiring problem it might cost $200-$300 to get it fixed and you would be on the hook for it.". Her immediate suggestion "Hard-wired phones are truly OBSOLETE. Thus buy a WIRELESS Phone. A 2 phone pair. Plug the "Base Phone" directly into the ISP's Modem and place the other phone (1 or more) elsewhere in the house where you want them. The other phones only need a power source and away they go. Brilliant Solution, Thanks SPECTRUM Tecchie in California. Problem solved quickly and permanently at minimal cost. That's WHY I bought this phone pair.

Conjunto de aparelhos de boa qualidade.Lamentei o fato desse modelo VG231-4 não possuir recurso de bloqueio de ligações spam, ao decidir comprar não notei a ausência dessa informação.Outro desapontamento foi a fonte da base só aceitar tensão de 110-120 Volts (informação omissa na apresentação do produto), enquanto a rede de minha cidade é de 220 Volts. A maioria dos aparelhos eletro-eletrônicos destinados ao Brasil vem com dupla voltagem, uma vez que neste país há estados que funcionam a 110V e outros a 220V. Tive que resolver este problema adquirindo pequenos transformadores para reduzir a tensão, a fim de não ter de devolver o produto.
