Fit perfectly in my furnace. Good pricing compared to big box stores. I change these filter once a year and have been using them for the last two years and had no flow issues.

If you have 16x25x5 furnace filters, you need to look in the package for the "actual" size. I bought a filter at a hardware store that said 16x25x5..... but "actual" size was different from the 16x25x5 that I had in my furnace..... the width for one was 4.75"..... my width was 4.25"...... the filter was too wide to fit. The filter is good. Just check the "actual" size on the filter itself

These were a hard to find size for our furnace. Cost savings are great with two for the price of one.

I’m impressed with the Filtrete 16x25x5 MPR 1000 (MERV 11) filters. The actual size (15.63 x 24.74 x 4.31) fit my Lennox housing perfectly, and installation was quick. After a few weeks, there’s noticeably less dust on surfaces and my allergies are calmer—airflow stayed strong, so the HVAC doesn’t feel strained. The pleats are sturdy, no fiber shedding, and the 2‑pack is good value since I replace about every 6–9 months with pets in the house. If you’re upgrading from a basic filter, this hits a nice balance of clean air and efficiency. Just double‑check your cabinet dimensions because 16x25x5 sizes vary by brand.

This needs weather strip around it so it fits more securely without letting air pass over it. Make sure you know the dimensions of the area before you buy this. It’s slightly too small of a filter for my furnace. I don’t know why they don’t make them all the same size. If say 20x20x5 is what’s needed the filter should cover an area that exact size.

We have had a Honeywell F50F Electronic furnace filter with its two high voltage collection modules for over 25 years and it just does not seem to be collecting the dust like it used to. That lack of apparent dust collection, combined with a lot of sneezing in the morning when the furnace turns on, prompted us to look at replacing the Honeywell electronic filter. After some research and careful measurements we discovered we could replace the original electronic metal modules with passive media filters and determined that the Filtrete 20x25x4, AC Furnace Air Filter MPR 1000 should fit....AND IT DOES! A perfect fit in all dimensions. The only thing is one needs to remove a guide in the bottom center of the Honeywell housing which is easily done with a screw driver (see the attached picture). Once that is removed the filter slides in with enough friction that we know it provides good air seal on all edges. The length was also perfect and the housing door closes securely. See the attached picture when installed in the Honeywell housing.This MERV 11 filter has only been installed for a few days but during the morning furnace house warm up, there was no sneezing so I have high hopes this filter or even the more effective MERV 13 version will be our ultimate solution to the F50F electronic modules replacement.The paper pleats would not be cleanable with compresses air without destroying the small particle filtering and as its paper it cannot be washed and must be replaced.The packaging for the filter states it is good for 1 year and at $60 for 2 filters, that's a very reasonable annual maintenance cost for the filter replacement and our health.This filter will fit into either the F50F or the F300 Electronic Filter housing. Just be sure to turn off or remove the power to the F50F module.The package comes with 2 filters so we are good for 2 years of sneezeless mornings!

These whole-home furnace filters for fine and are of a higher quality than some of the unknown brands we have tried (which got shredded when the heating system went into high speed fan mode). They have changed from MPR 1200 to MPR 1000 recently, but seem to still work OK. (The MPR 1300 and above are too dense for our system.)For you techies: we have a Trane high-efficiency gas system for a 2800 sq. foot home (full basement plus two floors).
