I installed this bar into my work shop space. It worked great. The ability to vary the intensity and color temperature of the light with the remote has proven more useful that I originally believed. The light is quiet and does NOT interfere with my FM radio in the shop as do other "bargain" LED lights I have used. I did not set up the smart app so I won't comment on it. The remote control does work and is easy to use. It is light plastic and does feel a little cheap. Don't know how durable it will prove to be with constant use but for now- it works well. The mounting hardware is very basic but I would suggest an extra pair of hands to help with the wiring and placement. The wires were a little on the short side but workable. It is an AC powered accessory so make sure your power box/ or wire is located before your attempt installation. Overall a good inexpensive lighting solution with a stylish look

Will not cover a can light socket

Installation's not too bad if you have 2 people doing it. The length is long and requires two hands. It's a strong quality light, sturdy. It's looks really nice. You can adjust the temperature of it so it looks how you want it to. I like an LED yellow look and my husband likes the bright white. It worked out well in the laundry room. Covers a good distance on the ceiling so we only needed the one light instead of multiple ones.

I installed this ceiling light in my basement, where the low ceiling really benefits from its slim, compact design. Installation was fairly straightforward, but I did run into a safety concern that’s worth flagging: when I clipped it in initially, the light came loose, and one of the safety straps failed by coming apart from the weight of the fall. I had to re-crimp the safety strap loop. Thankfully, the remaining strap held it in place and I was able to secure the loose component immediately. While it didn’t fall, it reminded me to check all fasteners carefully after clip-in.The internal wiring is modular, which helped—I could move the live and ground wires to the same side, making the install cleaner. I had a bit of confusion with the included remote: I accidentally activated a flashing mode and initially couldn’t exit it using the remote alone. Fortunately, connecting to the app restored full functionality and bypassed the flashing mode entirely. It would be helpful if the manual clarified how to reset or exit that mode if remote control gets stuck.Once powered, the light output was impressive for how compact the fixture is, and it looks sleek once mounted. Despite those installation quirks, the fixture performs well—just take extra care during the install and you should be rewarded with a great-looking light fixture.

Using this light bar for a dark closet area. My husband was pretty happy at seeing all the hardware for easy installation. Very lightweight but materials seem durable upon removing from the box. It looks modern and has a remote. Will update on brightness after installation. It is exactly what he wanted.
