I am reviewing: 4 Inch LED Disk Lights Flush Mount Ceiling Light Dimmable Recessed Surface Mount Lighting Fixture for Kitchen, Bedroom, Living Room, Dining Room in 5000K Day LightI am giving this product a great rating because of the materials and design, even though I was unable to use them. Reason: because they are not flush enough to clear the cabinet doors. Otherwise, they would have been GREAT!They come with everything you need to install them in one of several ways. We are replacing some 2 inch recessed lights, and I thought we would be able to cut the holes to accommodate these lights. As it turned out, we could have used the mounting plate for these lights, and just made some screw holes outside of the existing 2.XX inch holes, pass the wiring through and proceed with the job.Keep in mind that these are 4 inch lights, but they need almost 6 inches of space on the outside for the mounting. They are also able to be retrofitted with the included screw bulb attachments. Lots of options.

Ordered these AIDROIT 5/6 Inch LED Disk Lights Flush Mount Ceiling Light Fixtures thinking I would use them as retrofit can lights, and while they would probably work for that purpose I don't think they are as good as the standard box store retrofit kits.The lights came very well packaged and in a branded box. They are ETL listed and the housing is metal, that should help with the heat distribution and extend the LED life. These do not include quick connects between the A19 adapter and the wires in the fixture itself, that means you will need to wire nut them all together. The up side to this configuration is that the manufacturer obviously intended these to be a more versatile product. The housings have holes drilled such that you can attach these to some 4 inch ceiling boxes, like if you wanted to convert an overhead fixture to what looks like a recessed can light without having to replace the electrical box. The bare wire connections on the fixture would facilitate that. Retrofit clips are included so that you can use these in can lights, I had some trouble getting them to fit inside the housing I have in the kitchen but those are not the normal shape so I don't think I can blame the light for that issue. Finally, as pictured, the LED itself is covered with a secondary plastic shield and the lens can be removed so you can mount these to a box. Those features are not standard with a retrofit kit, and they are normally not metal... so for certain scenarios this could be the perfect item.The color tone was perhaps a little bit more soft white than I would expect for 3000k, and you cannot adjust the color tone with these. Final potential gripe is that they are not that bright for using 14 watts of power.Overall they have some issues but the versatility of being able to remove the lens and wire them into boxes as well as use them as retrofit can deserves a 4 star rating. At the time of this review the seller is offering a 25% off coupon which helps with the price but personally it lowers my trust of a product when they start with a high price then offer coupons and incentives.

I got these lights to replace the bulb-type LEDs currently in our recess lighting. I love the way they look like a single piece fixture rather than a can and bulb like we have now. Be sure to order the right color temperature for what you're wanting. Check the labeling on your current bulbs or go to a home store and see what you like, because you get what you get when you order; they aren't changeable for color. They are however dimmable, but I don't have them connected to a dimmer switch to test that out.Also be aware that if you are plugging them in to existing type can lights, you'll have to wire the lamp to the E26 whip yourself. It's easy to do, but just be sure you're expecting that. You also have to attach the springs yourself if you plan to install them that way, as we did.A great value for the price! Would order again.

I'm in the process of swapping out some older flush-mounted ceiling LED lights for new ones. These are them. Easy to install, if you do your own electrical work, like I do. Glad to have gotten them.
