We've had a years long problem with Odorous ants and our regular bug sprayer guy has not been able to get rid of them. They get bad after a rain, and we have two main ingress areas - bathroom and kitchen. At any given time you can see 5-10 scouts in and around the main entry points. So we put these traps down on a Monday Morning. Not sure if they are supposed to work this way but when you open them and put them down, they create a blop of goop (see picture). Here is what happened:Day one: Put down time - one bait station in each of the two areas.... 10 or so ants in each area.Day one: Put down plus 3 hrs - lots more ants swarming around bait stationsDay one: Put down plus 6 hrs - solid traffic - line of ants 1/16" apart coming and going from trap in kitchen. Trap in bathroom had ants completely surrounding perimeter of goo. Wish I had taken a picture. Probably 80+ ants nibbling at goo.Day two: Same for kitchen. In bathroom, ants climbing on top of each other to get at goo. No parking spaces left around perimeter, many ants actually on the goo, many inside the bait station. Maybe 250 ants in, on and around station, constant traffic to ingress hole.Day three: Morning: Traffic at both stations drastically reduced, though steady.Day three: Evening: Maybe 3-4 ants at each site wandering around going "where is everyone".Day four through day seven: No ant sightings. The ants in the picture are ones that died in the goo around day 3.So... so far, this seems to have worked great for us!Update December 7 2021. Have not seen an ant since October 22. This is Texas... so we've had ant weather the whole time.
Works great! Put in the ants path and they will eat it up. You can also leave droplets in the area and they will go and find. And then poof! They are gone! You may have to clean the spot as it gets very thick and sticky after a few days. Safe for pets...at least my cats do not bother it.
When two mature trees were blown down across my driveway, as I cut the first to clear the driveway, ants poured out. Before long, it seems their colony decided to make my house their new residence. I placed three of these baits where they traveled on our floors, added three of the outdoor baits from the same company outside the home, and in a week or so, ants were gone for good.
I honestly have used so many different ant traps over the years but I have never found one that works as well as this one! Every summer I have the occasional ants in the kitchen but this got rid of them all in two days!
Carpenter ant bait trapsThey were crawling on me in my bed, these are the boldest, hardest to smash ants. I put two of these ant traps in each room, inside cupboards and around room perimeters.I guess they worked, the appearance of these ants in my room has lessened, though they are still quit prlific outside. I have not yet used the container of deterrent to spread around the perimeter of my house.
No funciona, es más bien alimento para hormigas
I had ants on my kitchen counters set three of these out saw ants going to the bait in large numbers for two days I haven’t seen any for about five days now. Great product and design
Best thing I've found for ants. I live in the desert and get ants coming in every summer. This has worked great, totally eradicated one ant nest that was in my house walls.
