For those who cannot find the instructions, they are all online on the official Keurig website. If you do not have a smart phone to scan the QR code on the side of the box, you can google search Keurig and then find the instructions through their product support. I am sure there are also YouTube videos that help with certain models. There are so many different models that the instruction manual would probably be almost as thick as a college text book. I found it pretty easy to do. I have the Classic 2.0 and followed the instructions after I scrolled down and found it. My keurig came back to life after running several cycles of descaling. A lot of people mentioned still smelling or tasting the citric acid. I ran my keurig for 5-6 cycles and found the smell went away. I didn’t have to do the full 12 cycles which is nice because that would take forever. I found it to be effective and helpful. Nothing like having a mini heart attack when your coffee maker stops working. It hasn’t quit on me yet since doing the descaling compared to what others are saying. I do recommend buying the bundle that comes with the water filter for the reservoir. If you’re gonna go through descaling you might as well change your filter too.

Process was pretty easy and works, just note you have to use the whole bottle of descaling at once.

This is the only product that works. I purchased another brand a few months ago and it didn’t work. It had no effect whatsoever on my coffee machine. I put this full bottle in the reservoir as per instructions and it foamed and fizzed and cleaned the entire machine. I then finished with the rinse pod. It took me about two hours to clean the coffee machine. I had to keep on emptying the reservoir and brewing the water and filling the reservoir again. Probably used 25 reservoirs of filtered tap water. Then I brewed of cup of coffee and WOW I can taste the coffee again. Prior to this the coffee was bland and tasteless. I highly recommend the Kuerig brand.

Thankful for this product. Bought the dollar store brand and regretted it. The machine had an awful taste for days. Less than 2 weeks later it sounded as if my Kuerig would explode again. So I bought the good stuff... the original branded product and my keurig is no longer in attack mode or ready to spontaneously combust. Coffee tastes good and my mornings are peaceful again.

After using my Keurig is now acting up. The instructions are incomplete and don't match what came with my Keurig. I will reorder as it's necessary to keep it going. No scent, easy to use, I'd highly recommend using this on the schedule your Keurig tells you. Mine flashes to tell me to descale until I do it

First up, note that this is the *Brewer Cleanse Kit*, which contains descaling solution and 4 Keurig rinse pods. Also available (sometimes cheaper depending on how the sale price falls) is the *3 Month Brewer Care Kit* which is exactly the same, except it includes two water filter cartridge refills. At the time of writing, the price difference is less than a dollar.Water filters are available separately as both the brand version and from other manufacturers, so you may prefer this kit over the other.Living in a very hard water area we've been through several Keurig's and they've almost certainly died because they get clogged up with limescale deposits despite the fact that we use the filters, and filtered water. The one we've currently got has outlived them all, and I put that down to the fact that we now use these care kits every three months (it's on the calendar).Make sure you have time to spare and have had your coffee before hand, because descaling is a pretty intensive process and involves multiple refills. The instructions are clear and the difference before and after is noticeable. The descaling solution smells a little, so make sure you flush it out properly as per the instructions.You don't need to use all the items at the same time - in fact it's suggested that the rinse pods be used after any strong flavored beverage, and the water filters are changed on a slightly different schedule than the descaling. Obviously your mileage may vary depending on your water type. Friends of ours have a water softener and haven't had to do this once.All in all, after using this kit the Keurig seems to run more smoothly and quickly. Will continue to use these.
