I purchased the Blink Video Doorbell to add to my Blink Security system! I absolutely love the overall quality of my Blink Security system! I feel it is the best; most affordable home security system money can buy! My video doorbell connected to my Sync Module immediately after installing the quality Energizer brand lithium batteries which are included with the doorbell! The doorbell is the second - generation Smart Security doorbell! It claims to have a 2-year battery life, I will test this claim. I was pleased to see that Amazon.com includes quality Energizer brand lithium batteries. They are in my opinion the best lithium batteries you can buy. Overall, the doorbell is very well made and of very high quality especially for the price paid. It works flawlessly and produces great quality images every time. It was super easy to install and operate! The camera on the doorbell has great motion detection as well. I really love the new AI generated video messages you receive when the doorbell camera senses someone near your door! The Blink System offers many affordable security plans. I'm not sure yet which one I will go with. You can also just use your local storage to record and save videos locally on your Sync module if you do not want to pay for a plan. But you will lose many of the doorbells features and capabilities if you choose to do this. I must note that after installing the doorbell and having it up and running. I experienced intermittent issues with connectivity to my home's Wi-Fi system! This was not anything to do with my Blink System! After consulting with Amazon's Blink System customer service, which is outstanding! I was able to figure out my issue! It was my Norton 360 Security app that was interfering with my security system! Just a note if you use a security app on your wi-fi system and Android phone, make sure that your Blink System has all permissions and in the Norton app that the Blink System is marked as trusted! Once I made the changes in my Norton 360 app, I have not had any further connectivity issues whatsoever! Thought I would share this with everyone, so that it will help others and they don't blame the Blink System for their issues. The video doorbell was super easy to install! I purchased on amazon.com a door mount that does not require any drilling or adhesives. Amazon.com has many available just make sure it is for the latest generation of the Blink System video doorbell and not the older generation! The doorbell is compatible with the Sync 2 module as well as the newer Sync Module Core!

I dropped mine onto my wood porch and ended up with a thick gash in the plastic. The good news is Amazon replaced my unit immediately.- The metal connectors on the back are VERY weak.- There is currently no chime available for the doorbell. You have to use a Blink Mini indoor camera or another smart device. I prefer a standalone chime that I can put around the house that does not require any additional subscriptions or cameras to function. Other devices you can use include Alexa and other ai devices but a simple dumb chime that doesn't really on the Internet to function would be nice.

Works very well and has a good clear picture. Motion detector works well and sends good notifications to my phone. Very easy to set up and connect to my internet. Multiple family members can have the app on their phone so they can look at the cameras when needed. Cameras and service are very affordable. Very pleased and would recommend.

I’ve had one previously, but it was under the older system where we had Windows 10 the quality of this is very good quality battering life for two years is very good to have when you need it value the money for the money is great. It’s very easy to set up. You just have to follow the steps very carefully. Connectivity is easy. You just have to give the Wi-Fi a time to verify the signal and then a durability, which is nice it holds its own.

I picked this up on sale during Prime Day, and for the price it was a no-brainer. I already have Blink cameras and a sync module set up in my home, so I didn't need to buy any extra equipment. My existing cameras double as the doorbell chime, which saved me from buying a separate unit.If you're already familiar with Blink cameras, this doorbell doesn't really add anything new other than a button that triggers the chime. It functions like a standard Blink camera with motion detection, two-way talk, live view, and night vision.The camera is decent quality and has a very wide field of view.The usual Blink frustrations carry over. You need a paid subscription to unlock features like bulk clip deletion and their AI assistant, which identifies what triggered the motion — Amazon deliveries, animals, and so on. There's also about a five-second lag on the live feed, so what you're seeing already happened.The mount is another issue. Only the bracket screws into the wall, and the camera just snaps onto it. They include a "special tool" to release it, but a fingernail does the trick. Anyone could pop it off and walk away with it.
