My skin became much more sensitive in perimenopause, and I was trying everything I came across. Bought this French product on a whim at my local Walgreens when I saw it on clearance. Maybe the shoppers there balked at the $30 price tag. No, this stuff is well worth it if you're dealing with irritation, and the bottle lasts a long time. Heads up: the texture is not like lotion...it's a unique barrier coating that feels a little weird when you first put it on but dries cleanly. It's not really a moisturizer but a barrier/lubricant to help with irritation.

I purchased this moisturizer to help with my extremely irritated skin when it seemed like nothing was working. Not only did this moisturizer immediately start treating the irritation but it’s been so great that now I use it regularly as my daily body and face moisturizer.Pros:- helps reduce itching/inflammation/irritation within seconds/minutes- no fragrance- absorbs quickly and does not leave any film or residue (as long as you don’t use too much)- even helped reduce acne, scarring, and oiliness- the beneficial ingredients are towards the top of the ingredient list and there are little to no harmful or unnecessary ingredients so you get good bang for your buckCons:- wish they sold the travel size in the US- if you have extremely dry skin, this won’t be moisturizing enough on its own (but luckily it layers pretty well)- it does not last the whole day, I do have to reapply but it lasts a good while and it goes on easily so I don’t mind reapplying

I LOVE LOVE this brand, especially the oil body/face cleansers!!!! Just purchased their Intensive Gel to creme product as well as Baume. I found the Gel to creme product QUITE STICKY, and long to absorb. Thought perhaps if I wait longer for it to absorb it would be good, but I had to rinse it off. Sadly this one is not a winner for me. Their Baume however is good and clean texture. Now want to give product time to heal my extremely Atopic skin on lower extremities due to horrific skin to bone infections that put me into hospital. Staying optimistic. Hope this is informative.

This is the most economical face lotion! I’ve been using Bioderma for years! I bounce between using this and the ultra crème version. I like using the gel in the warmer months. Every time I spend $30+ on a tiny face cream jar, I regret it.This is a basic facial lotion. It delivers lasting hydration, has a lightweight, gentle formula, and is fragrance free! I think as long as you use a serum geared towards your needs, you can get away with using a basic lotion. I do think the gel has very minor “tackiness” at the beginning of application, but it slowly fades. I also appreciate that it doesn’t pile if you put on makeup on top of it, or sun lotion. If you use this solely for your face, it should last you 4x longer than the typical over priced 40ml facial creams that are full of fragrance and filler ingredients.
