New review on the "utility light." (Amazon not allowing a new review for the different item). This time I decided to try the "utility light" because the "closet lights" I have used for two years have functioned perfectly. I thought the smaller light might work well attached to the bottom of a cabinet shelf to illuminate the shelf below. But this "Utility Light" isn't great at all. It is a small lamp (2.5" x 6") which is good, but the illumination is poor. The cabinet is 32" wide, 21" deep and 15" high. It would take two "utility" lights to equal the illumination of the closet light. This lamp is only good for a smaller space than I have.That said, I continue to be fully satisfied with the round Closet Light. All five I have provide substantial illumination, given their size, and rarely need recharging. The ones in deep kitchen corner cupboards that are opened multiple times a day run for many months before charging. The one I have in a closet to illuminate the lower area of the closet requires more frequent charge, something like every two or three months.REVIEW OF THE "CLOSET LIGHT" (late 2018)Love having a light without disposable batteries. There is a major problem with Duracell batteries which have leaked in every battery item I have for the past 2 years. I put this light inside a deep, corner kitchen cabinet 2.5 months ago. It turns on promptly when I open the cabinet door and turns off seconds after I close the door. So far I have not needed to recharge its battery. I want more of these great lights.UPDATE: Seven months have passed since I installed my first of these "round closet lights" inside a deep corner kitchen cabinet, and I have not yet had to recharge it. We open the cabinet a few times daily; light continues to operate as it should. These lights are fabulous! I put them in additional cabinets and am buying more for closets. It is best to attach where they will be easy to remove because eventually they will have to be removed to recharge.

We bought this light to use on our outside patio for grilling in an area that did not have a light.This light is very bright and does a perfect job in lighting our grilling area.I was concerned after reading some of the reviews regarding the battery life, however, we have had the light installed for a month, and use the grill a few times a week. The light is still bright and has not needed a recharge.The mounting is straight forward - I chose to drill and mount the base. The light easily attaches and detaches with a little spin. Great product -- highly recommended.

Mounted one in a closet. Works great. Mounted another in a busy staircase. Works great but need to recharge almost weekly.

This light is very easy to install, has great motion detection, and provides a bright light wherever you need it! We used two along the garage entryway and no longer have to deal with the overhead lights. They last us 10-14 day between charges (with numerous on-off cycles per day) and are very easy to charge using the micro-USB cable. We have now purchased two additional lights for interior closets and are very happy with the performance.

This is my second order of these lights. The first time was for the closet under the stairs and loved it so much had to order more for my bedroom closets. The motion sensor turns it on as soon as I open the door and the light is so bright I can easily see my entire 3 x 8 foot closet. No more dark corners in my house. I highly recommend this product.

Great for closets, kitchen cabinets. Easy to install. Just recharge and ready to work great again. Mine last months on a single charge as I only use it in areas where we don’t have light bulbs and are not accessed too frequently. Motion detection is very good. I noticed it picks up when there is daylight so it won’t turn on, saving the battery charge.

I purchased this on February 10, 2019 and it no longer picks up my motion in my closet. There’s supposed to be a 6 year warranty so I assumed it would last way longer than 8 months!! I would like my warranty to be honored as soon as possible!
