These have a super thin design and are easy to install. We had purchased a 24 pack for home improvement projects as they come up. We have loved the look of the lights that we have installed. However, last week, we pulled one out of the box and found the spring was broken off. Even though I was outside of the return window, I contacted customer support and they were excellent! They got back to me in a timely manner and replaced the faulty light. I would highly recommend these lights and this company.

These LEDs were very easy to install and the ability to change the light color was a win when installing in different room types. And because of how thin they are, I was able to mount a few under beams with no problem.

This product will arrive in generic packaging without any excess. It is well packaged for shipping and mine arrived in good condition. Opening the packaging reveals a set of recessed lights of good build quality. These fixtures are also quite versatile with having 5 seletable colour modes between 2700 (Warm White) to 5000K (Cool White) which is a very popular light tone these days. It's good to have options in order to change up the look in future if you choose.These type of fixtures are actually a good choice for both New Construction as well as Retro Installs where you can simply remove the old fixture relatively easily and connect the new junction box to the 120V AC with the supplied quick release connectors, push the box into the ceiling cavity through the same hole and then connect the LED module itself to the the junction box via the dongle cable. The LED housing then simply pops into the hole and is held in place via the two spring clamps. The retaining clamps spring against the back of the drywall and firmly hold the ring in place. Removing them later is easily done via simply pulling down on the edge of the ring until the springs pop again. This is a very straight forward design. ** NOTE: Make sure to use "cable clamps" for where your AC wiring enters the metal box of the DLLT fixture in order to keep your installation legally compliant! (You supply your own cable clamps)In actual use these lights function quite well. I like the 5000K setting as opposed to the "old school" warm yellow tone. After getting used to their method of operation, I have gotten to really appreciate this design. While the maker notes they are dimmable, I actually prefer to just use them in a regular full on/off arrangement and did NOT make use of optional dimmers in my scenario. Therefore, I cannot offer any commentary on that functionality or which type of dimmers would be best to use with this brand, so seek out other reviews for that an answer to that question.I am pleased that these lights have actual Electrical Certifications. While not CSA or UL, you will find an "ETL/Intertek" logo which is a newer laboratory organisation that allows for an alternate form of testing that verifies that they "Conform" to CSA or UL Certification standards. So, these do have safety certifications which I feel is a very important detail as I have come across many electrical products sold online that do not have any electrical certifications of any kind.Overall, I am pleased with these DLLT Recessed Lights. I feel that these are good quality, work as described and appear to be more than durable enough for their intended use. They are relatively easy to install and they are ETL certified, so there is some measure of North American safety compliance here. At the original listing price of $59.99 for a set of six 4 inch potlights, this is reasonable for what you are getting here in my opinion. I am going to give this set of "DLLT" 4" LED Potlights a recommendation. These are worth considering and if you are shopping around for a decent quality, certified recessed lighting

I've installed many 4" versions of these lights and they were great. Got these 6inch versions and the amount of light is just great. Got a whole bunch of these for a basement remodel, but considering the amount of light they produce I will have to rethink the number of lights I use. May put the extra ones in the laundry room.They are ETL certified and both the box and the light unit have it clearly printed on them.Color selectable, so you can choose what color you prefer depending on your application (from 2700K up to 5000K) easily selectable with a small switch on the controller/junction box.They are dimmable with no apparent flickering that I could perceive (and I am typically very sensitive to flickering). The dimming function can vary depending on the quality of the dimmer you use. I used a Leviton dimmer during my testing, but I may switch to a Lutron during final install.Comes with the wire nuts needed to connect them, but you will need to get some cable connect/strain relief/connectors for the knockouts, which are pretty cheap at any big box hardware store.If you are installing many of these, to make installation easier get a 6 1/8 (or 155mm) hole saw. This will make it easier to make the holes on the ceiling, all identical and cleaner finish.Overall, very bright dimmable lights, well constructed, and c(ETL)us certified and built to CSA standards.
