These have really helped my system. My thermostat is on a wall that is also the return duck going up into the attic. Because of this I have never had correct reading from the thermostat, and I have had two different ones. This one you can change the reading by setting a correction value but this still did not help me. In warmer temps it needed one setting and another in cooler. It was annoying. I got these and placed one in the kitchen and the other in the living room. What I found they do is communicate with the thermostat and they create an average temperature for the house. This has made the readings much more consistent and accurate. I am much happier now and was able to remove the temperature correction from the thermostat.They were extremely easy to set up. The are also small and do not stand out in the room. I have not had any issues with them not picking us up and detect motion well.

These work very well with Ecobee thermostat . They help reduce needless equipment running when rooms are unoccupied. Work really well for central air in our home as the downstairs can get cool much faster and the system doesn’t run needlessly when the upstairs is unoccupied most of the day. Reliability has been excellent.

I have a 2-story 2500 sq. ft. house and my thermostat is downstairs. I have the "Lite" version of the Ecobee thermostats and it was able to sense both sensors even though I activated them from my office upstairs. Easy peasy. They read the temperature perfectly and look aesthetically pleasing, however they are small enough that they could easily get lost or the kid could accidentally play with it. Keep them in a spot that's difficult to reach.

Remember you are buying a tool to average temperatures so something like a cold addition or bedroom matter in the thermostat math mix, or a fireplace doesn't shut off your thermostat, there isn't much else its good for. If you need that function get it, we're happy with ours. Was harder to connect than it should have been..still works fine after you get it connected. It does improve scheduling insight and help you see where your house is struggling to keep temps, or perhaps where its not struggling such as a warm bedroom upstairs. Delivers a cool modern function for a reasonable price, worthwhile.

My thermostat is near a window so it always reads hotter than what the house actually is. Bought this 2 pack to normalize the temperature reading on my thermostat. Worked perfectly. Now the temp on the sensor is correct.

Very happy with this 2 pack sensor. We don't have a big house, but this has let our heat pump turn off sooner with the average temperature in our house. Our family room and bedroom are more comfortable with less time running the heater. Less than 5 minutes to set up.

Now it actually pays attention to the rooms people are in, which is how it should work.Setup was simple — each sensor paired quickly through the Ecobee app, and mounting them was easy. Once connected, the sensors help balance temperatures in commonly used rooms, so I’m no longer freezing in one room while the hallway is perfectly comfortable. The occupancy detection works well too; when nobody is in a room, the system doesn’t waste energy trying to keep that space conditioned.What I appreciate most:• Better temperature balance across the house• HVAC doesn’t run as often when no one is home• The app automatically prioritizes “occupied rooms” for comfort• Range has been reliable — no connection drops so farIf I had to nitpick, the included stands are very minimal, and battery replacement will be needed eventually. But overall, these sensors are pretty much essential if you already own an Ecobee thermostat.Bottom line: If you want your Ecobee to actually follow where you and your family spend time — not just the hallway thermostat location — this 2-pack is worth it. Better comfort, less wasted energy, and a noticeable upgrade to how “smart” the system feels.

I did not realize it did not reach my thermostat from my bedroom in a two story house. The one in the living room is ok and a great help. I wish I would have known before I purchased. This is a fantastic product, but depending on square footage it may be difficult.
