I use my fitbit inspire 3 everyday, mainly to track steps and heart rate. The extra features of Fitbit that require a premium subscription are just OK, and not really needed for me. I did try their free trial, but decided not to continue the premium service. The sleep monitoring is pretty neat though. For connectivity - It is really easy to setup with your phone with their app, but it just isn't for me.The step counter works great, and I use it to try and track my 10,000 steps a day, sometimes finding that I've come close to the goal just doing general work and movement during the day!I like the reminder vibration to remind you to get up and move every once in awhile (I'm sure you can disable this, but I don't).I went with this model of Fitbit because it is much smaller, and much lighter. The fit is really nice, and super lightweight. The screen is still big enough to read it, as the display is bright and clear. It doesn't work well if you want to do extras like messages/email etc, but I don't use it as a smart watch in that way. If you want those features, probably look for a larger model. The durability is another plus for this tracker. I wear it everyday, and without thinking about it (I forget I'm wearing it 99% of the time) I bump and scrape it on all types of things, especially at work because I work with my hands a lot. I can see scruffs and dings all over the edges now after a few months, but zero issues with the functionality, and no real damage to the screen or buttons. Seems that it will take a beating and be just fine. The other thing I really like about this tracker, and another reason I went smaller, is the battery life. I find I have to charge it maybe two or three times a month (at most). I don't really keep track, but it lasts a very long time, even though I wear it all day, everyday. I don't sleep with it anymore, so I'm sure that saves some battery. Either way, the battery lasts a long time, and charge time is very quickly through USB. My only concern is the waterproof type connector that it uses (a design that a lot of smart watches have) might wear down and require their proprietary cable. Because I haven't charged too many times and the charge lasts so long, I'm not super worried about replacing the cable anytime soon, but something to note - you might have to eventually shell out for their special cable.Overall, I really recommend the Inspire 3 is you want a lightweight, small, easy to read tracker. If you are mainly looking for steps/pulse, it is a great device. If you want some of the extras, maybe go a step up and expect to have a heavier device with shorter battery life.
I’ve previously had a Charge 4 and then a 5. Like them both, but all good things come to an end. Typical life span a little over 2 years. I’m ok with that. What I really like about this tracker is the smaller size. When my Charge 5 died (tried to wash it off under the faucet), I looked into the Charge 6. Reviews were not reassuring. So this one had more positive reviews and thought I’d give it shot. So far it’s been great. Easy to use, display responds well to touch, screen is legible, and it supports just what I need. Plus, it’s less $$ than the new Charge. At this point very happy with my purchase. Recommended. Will follow up with updates as needed.Update 5-10-24. So within three days battery dropped to 19%. A disappointment given the description states up to 10 days. So I made a few changes in the watch configuration and fully recharged. After36hours battery is at 66%. A week would be acceptable but anything less a disappointment.Update 5-13-24. Turned off always on display. Battery at 44% after 6 days, not bad. Happy I bought this tracker over the Charge 6.Update 6-1-24 Ok, I really like this tracker. Soooo glad I bought it over the Charge 6. It has yet to disappoint me and Im getting at least 8-9 days from a charge. Best part is I like the small profile and simplicity of the display. I see the large display watches and trackers and wonder why anyone would want such a clunky device on their wrist. Now if you wants apps, fancy displays, emergency calling, and all parameters on one screen, this tracker is not for you. So glad I made this purchase.1-25-25. So the original Fitbit functionality was great throughout the past 9 months until the hinge point of the strap failed. The plastic where the pin secures the strap to the watch fractured. What to do? I tried some epoxy, worked for a few weeks. So I just ordered a new watch. Unfortunately, the watch gave me less than one year of service. Had it not been for its otherwise excellent performance I would have considered abandoning Fitbit. But I went and ordered a new one. Seems the watch is a disposable item with a life expectancy of less than a year. Too bad, seems few things in life have consistent longevity. I’ll have to see how long this one keeps me happy. I’m not going to deduct a star at this point. We’ll just have to see how this goes.4-11-25 I really like this device. it has performed well. I've been reading a few negative reviews. Seems people expect too much from a small rather inexpensive fitness watch. This device is great as a tracker but is not without fault. Keep that in mind and you won't be disappointed. I think others feel they should get the equivalent of an expensive electrocardiogram or sleep results that you can only get from visiting a sleep center. Ain't gonna happen. Just use the device as it is intended, as a tracker. Overall, once the tracker has accumulated enough data on your habits, it will serve as a reliable reflection of your exercise and health. I think it is worth it and would buy another.7-10-25 A few more months of use. No complaints. Good tracker. I sync it up with my iPhone and iPad. Sometimes it goes ok other times I need to pair it again. But not a major issue as it does catch up with the latest data. I rely on this compact tracker quite a bit for my steps, distance walked, exercise time, and general sleep quality. it also seems stop on with my resting heart rate. I still like it very much and would buy again. Another update 11-24-25. Watch very reliable thus far. No issues. Again the small profile of this watch is a real plus for me not to mention 8-9 day battery power. Use it mostly to track steps. I have a goal of 11000 steps / day and I’m on track with one month to go for a full year. Will buy another when this fails but I’m hoping to get more than one year out of this one.
This watch comes with free 6 month premium subscription. The best part is the "AI Coach." It's highly intuitive, informative, and tailored to me and my goals. I get specific feedback with accuracy and nothing generic. I am blown away with the capability of this watch and the updated app features that make the data easy to track and understand. The value you get for this watch supersedes those in it's price range and beyond. I'm not impressed with Hume, which doesn't charge a subscription, but gives limited information that's not worthy if you don't know how to interpret the data.*** NO MORE COUNTING CALORIES, WEIGHING FOOD OR GUESSING MACROS**** some "free" apps charge extra for the feature to scan your food and log it. Even then the accuracy is questionable. With this FIT BIT, I do not waste time logging into one app or the internet to find the closest food item out of small bank of options. Or you try to scan the barcode that's not registered in it's system- like my Factor meals. It was a hassle I didn't feel up to doing when it's time to eat. It was all a guessing game until my fitbit. I simply take a picture of my Factor meal or any meal and the AI coach gives me the full breakdown: calories, protein, carbs, fats and more if I request it. It even picks up on small items like cranberries in my salad or sauces that are difficult to log ingredients for. If there's a missing, making changes or adjustments is very simple. Now, I have a very sound way of logging and tracking my meals much faster. This Fit Bit in in synch with my Google Health and can incorporate data from my other brands of tools with a single screen shot. I've uploaded test results, labs, Hume Body scans, data from my Renphro scale and I don't have to guess on what it all means. The AI Coach breaks down data I've been working on for months into bite size servings that are comprehensive and easy to understand. It even makes appropriate suggestions based off my goals. This is the step counting watch with all the extra bells and whistles (minus heart rhythm detection) you'd want. It even keeps track of your menstrual cycle down to the day!
Summary - The Fitbit Inspire 3 is a very good fitness tracker. It counts steps, monitors heartrate and is even a sleep tracker. It has pretentions of being a smart device but don't be fooled. If you use this as a simple tracker that links to a smartphone to download results you'll be very happy with it. It's from a well known brand, has a decent battery life and good accuracy. If you want a smart device then buy an Apple Watch as the Inspire 3 won't do that properly and you won't be happy. I like it but know it is limited and I'm happy with that.Pros - Battery life. This will depend upon how you use the device. I have turned off all of the notifications and other stuff. I link the device to my phone once or twice a day for a few minutes and I don't compulsively check the screen. In this minimalist fashion I do manage 10 or 11 days between re-charges. That's very good for such a small device and I don't have to remember to recharge it every night so I'm happy too.Accuracy - It's pretty good. Steps correlate with other devices as does heart rate. Sleep tracking is reasonable and apart from a well documented tendency to confuse deep sleep with light sleep it is consistent. These devices are only indicators and not proper medical devices. If you have sleep problems then a proper sleep polysomnography is what you need. But this is good enough. I've never been able to tell what the sleep score properly correlates too though. There are days when I can have a great sleep score and feel tired by 10:00am. it's just a number not a way of life. The indifferent - The screen is small and the choice of displays isn't very good. I found one that works for me and I see no reason to change it. The screen is bright but very small. Another reason not to think this is a replacement for something like an apple watch.Fit - the Inspire 3 comes with two soft, silicone straps. It is comfortable to wear. Just be advised that the device needs to be tight to the wrist to get proper readings. It can slip to a loose position and not be able to measure anything. This means that you'll get maybe 9 out of 10 nights of sleep records then a junk one. And, if you're lifting weights in a gym it will be useless for heart rate monitoring in those conditions. Otherwise it's fine. The Bad - Only to a phone? My old fitbit used to link to my desktop where I could use a large display to see the data. New ones like the Inspire 3 only link to phones. This is a problem with getting older but why do I have to look at a tiny screen (my phone)? Guess fitbit couldn't be bothered to maintain the desktop software.Fitbit Premium - aka the "con". So fitbit want to charge you a monthly fee for premium features. How dumb do they think I am? I don't see any benefit to this and certainly not for a "mere" $9.99. Don't fall for this. The Inspire 3 is a relatively inexpensive device from a well known brand. it doesn't need the extras premium can give and you don't need to give Fitbit the money. It's just another wasted subscription draining your wallet. Conclusions - There is a lot to like about the Inspire 3 if you have the right mindset. it's well made, comfortable to wear, reasonably accurate and with good battery life. It is a good tracker. It's not a substitute for a proper smart watch even though Fitbit want you to think it is. If you're happy to let it be a tracker with limited contact with a phone it will meet your needs. And meet them well. As a tracker it's highly recommended. As a smart device with a premium subscription it's a joke. Recommended with use case caveats.
I have had my Fitbit for a few months now and I absolutely love it!!! It has honestly helped me so much with keeping track of my workouts and creating new goals based on my HR and recovery HR. It’s been game changer for me!!! I also took it with me to the Bahamas on a recent family trip and it worked great in the pool and Ocean. You just want to make sure it’s in water proof mode which is super easy to activate. I thought I lost my Fitbit once and was so sad because of how much I truly love it!!! If you are starting a new fitness journey and want another way to be accountable. This is it!!!
The watch is really good. I had gotten it while on a sale and I didn't want to spend too much money on something I didn't know if it worked, but I'm glad a bought it.It has a long battery life, I can go days of wearing it 24/7 without charging it and by the time I do charge it it's only dropped down to 40%. It also charges fast. When it's low and I charge it while I take a shower, it's basically at full battery by the time I get out.The screen has a few scratches now, but it doesn't really affect it's functionality or how well I can see the screen. It's also very accurate for tracking steps. I am unsure if it is for the heat rate since I don't have a way to test it, but I trust it, and it's good to know if my heart rate is going up.It does a fairly good job at tracking my sleep, but sometimes it thinks that when I'm awake, but just laying down that I am sleeping, though that might just be a problem for me.Overall really good, and would recommend.
Really liking it so far. The battery life alone is a huge plus for me. I came from a samsung smart watch. While having more features, the needing to charge it basically every day really sucked. This watch has several of the same main things I wanted. Step counter, Notifications, heart rate monitor, and all on a 7+day battery life! Its very comfortable to wear, weighing almost nothing. Its very accurate. For the price and for what it does, I really recommend it for someone in the market for a good quality and budget friendly watch.
I've been using Fitbit for several years. One time I followed my friend's advice and bought an Apple watch, but was really disappointed in the difference and returned it. For one, Fitbit lasts at least a week on one charge - but with Apple, you have to charge the thing every single day. It also displays far too much useless information - I can use my phone or laptop for that. All I need is the number of steps, heart rate, and sleep time, which Fitbit provides. The only reason I gave this watch a four instead of a five is because it is buggy. The most notable bug is the spotty sleep time. And this is true of all three Fitbits I've had. But I will still give it four stars because I wear it all the time and haven't found anything better, despite its flaws. The fit of this watch is also very good. I have an extremely small wrist, so it's usually difficult for me to find something that doesn't just slip off. But this watch has such a wide range of fit, that I use the fourth-to-smallest notch on the band!
No fuss strap on. Captures all the major metrics.
As advertised. Legit item.
It is a great little watch, ideal for my lifestyle in retirement, having great features to enable me to monitor my health, plus it is perfect for wearing when I go swimming. It is great value for money, looks good and tells me exactly what time it is!
Very good Fitbit, does come with charger, when it said it didn’t, took time to set up, other then that good device
Es un buen reloj. Se lo regalé a mi novia porque me gusta este tipo de medidores. El color es tal cual se ve en la foto, la pila dura mucho y el monitoreo de actividades es bueno. Ojalá hubiera sido más barato.
