The lights are bright enough, although the white in particular is not very bright. Even though the wind is not very bright it is bright enough to improve visibility. I use these underneath my kitchen cabinets to illuminate all the counter space beneath. I’ve also use these along the top crown molding in my entire living space. The app that pairs with the devices is adequate it allows you to not only control individual strips, but also group them together so you can control them all at once. The app as additional functionality such as allowing your phone to be the source of the sound that can control the lighting. You can also use the app to listen to the surroundings via your phone microphone, which can also control the lighting to the beat of music or speaking or other noise. You can also control the light strip partially meaning that you can turn off or change parts of the light strip to be certain colors by drawing on the light strip within The application. The adhesive that they are using is good enough to hold most surfaces. They also include some separate tabs that can be used to hold the strip in place as well with screws. I ordered the hundred foot length which came with two separate 50 foot strips and during installation I had ripped one of them because of the warning label that had been wrapped around both the adhesive tape covering and the strip itself when I pulled on the adhesive tape covering expose the adhesive tape. It ended up ripping the strip itself, which unfortunately made it nonfunctional. I emailed them late on a Tuesday evening and they got back to me on the same evening. They replaced the strip free of charge with fulfillment through Amazon. They also offered to refund my purchase at the halfway point since half of the strip had failed. They have earned my five star review because even though I accidentally ripped the light strip, they replaced it without expecting me to pay for more. I even ordered an extra hundred foot to put up in other areas on my home.

These lights are so cool that they make my previous strip lights look like a light bulb from 1941. Yes, they are a little more pricey but they do so much more. You can actually control small or large sections so the different colors fade in and out or not at all or both. It also can be controlled by Alexa which I have set up and it works perfectly. I will never go back to ordinary strip lights and I have not even begun to study the AI section yet of this lighting system. I recommend using some clear mounting tape as no strip lights really hold up by themselves properly regardless of the name brand you buy. I simply place the mounting tape about every 4 feet or approximately 1.3 m depending on your measurement system. It is not necessary to put the mounting tape all along the wall. It all depends on what you want to do and how you want it to look. The unit can be controlled by an app on the telephone or by voice through Alexa at the same time. I use both. These units are not meant to be strung together but you can group them together in the app and also Alexa understands the group so that you can control more than one strip at the same time by voice or app. I actually have two strips because I have them going all around my living room. That problem could also be solved by buying a longer strip as they do come in several sizes. So far after having these up for about three months, they have never once keyed out from Alexa or malfunctioned in any way. You can also control the brightness by voice or app. Right now I have it set so that little sections of the strip will slowly change to different colors very slowly. That looks very cool and I think that people who really like lights in your living environment will like this new kind of intelligent lighting system.

The lights are great when it comes to its brightness and the multicolor feature BUT my only problem is the fact that it is strictly app based. It does not come with a remote which I prefer since it is faster. My problem is that the lights only work when using the app which can be a problem if you don't have any device available at the time then the app only works if you are connected to Wifi and Bluetooth and if its connection is good.I have tried to use the apps and change my lights but it didn't work at all because I guess my wifi connection was poor. I could not use any of the features or change the colors. Even when closing the app, it did not work until I disconnected and reconnected my wifi on my phone. the only thing I can do without needing the app is press the on/off button.Lights are great, good adhesive, easy to install, but take in consideration that it is only app based.

The main power reset button was faulty, power goes in but power does not come out. I wish they offer replacements parts to avoid taking the whole strip. Updated 3-18-26 After great customer service I am getting a replacement, due to this customer service I am giving a 5 star because Integrity and transparency is very important to me.

Must have wifi! I thought (silly me) that if this advertised a remote, wifi and the app would be optional.Spoiler alert—not optional.Unfortunately I work at a school with no cell service because it’s in the woods…and wifi never works on personal devices either. So. I’m unable to use the app. All I get is blue lights when I turn on and if I let it blink awhile it will eventually turn to a yellow. I’m sure 5th graders will love it anyway. I realized I would need the app when I began hanging them and decided by that time it was already too late and I was committed because there is no teacher ever who has extra time to just hang lights all over again.So blinks blue lights it is.Also—I’m not sure why but only part of the roll has sticky backing…the rest did not. So I had to get out the handy gorilla tape and stick the rest on.Buyer beware if you are looking not to use an app. There is no remote!! And if you are expecting sticky adhesive for all of it, be warned.Ugh.

You can’t go Wrong with this lights. Look amazing and they work just as they should i highly recommend them you wont regret I will make a review in 6 months see how everything is working but for now im in love loooking to buy moreI install them. Love it, ordered it the day before and received it the next day thank to prime delivery. The set up was easy, can dime or brighten it up, can have it in music mode as well while playing music to give a club vibe.

Love these lights and the company. I purchased a couple of sets. Easy to pair and control with phone. Well made, perhaps not enough clips are included but those are cheap enough on Amazon. The lights offer many options and are very easy to control. They do everything the company advertises. Very happy with them.

Have recommended to friends they like it as well nice it comes with remote to change colors
