I bought this fabric shaver on a whim. It's sweater time in my part of the world, so I pulled out my winter clothes and noticed a lot of fabric "nubs" or clumps where the fabric had balled up from wear. In the past I have used a sweater stone to clean up my sweaters, but that tended to pull the fabric more and damage my clothing. I found this unit and decided to try it. I have several TORRAS neck fans and felt the brand was worth trying for this product.I unboxed the unit. It comes with a charging cable as well as a replacement shaver head. There's quite a bit of room in the unit to collect lint. After charging the unit, I turned it on. I saw lights, but there was no sound, no motor whirring...nothing! I removed the front and removed and then reassembled the unit, and it worked just fine. Strange. But, frankly, for the price, I was worried.I then thought I'd try the unit on a sweater that didn't have a lot of visible wear. As I ran the unit over my sweater, I didn't see a whole lot of change and was disappointed. I removed the magnetic back to clean the lint, and I was astonished at the amount of lint it had picked up on some quick passes over part of the sweater. Seriously surprised! I went through the entire sweater, and the article of clothing looked fresher and better. Cool! So then I challenged the unit to my cashmere socks, which had some serious fuzzy wear. After going through the socks, the heels and soles of the socks looked a lot like they were new. And the amount of lint the unit picked up was, well, a LOT. Wearing the socks, too, after removing the extra rolled bits, the socks felt more comfortable, since I wasn't walking on clumps of lint. I became a believer.Here's the downside: this unit is expensive. I haven't used it enough to feel like I can speak to its longevity, but I am impressed enough to hold onto it for a while and continue to use it.Another downside, which, I think, will affect this unit's life: when I am moving it over the fabric, I try to be careful not to lay it flat where the air cannot move. It seems the unit's motor might get a little taxed by that use, and I'm not familiar enough with electric fabric shavers to feel confident I'm using it correctly, so I don't ruin the motor.Looking at other fabric shavers, this unit seems on par with the performance. I don't know if other units have multiple settings, like this one. It's got low, medium, and high speeds. So far I've had great results on a medium speed, and I feel it's doing a great job with my clothing at that speed. I've not used it on upholstery yet, but I need to learn how to use the unit first before I tackle something a lot larger. I'm confident, though, it will be able to take the stress of a large job.

This is the second lint remover that I have bought the first one I bought is purple and a dark gray color and I I love it. My wife keeps trying to steal it from me and I steal it back. I have Kashmir clothes to go back 12 to 15 years they’re in they’re still in great shape except They have piles, little tea pill, licking things and that happens to find fine clothing. You see it a lot sweaters you’ll see it a lot and the last thing you wanna do is go up greet someone and have all these little dots and pills on the edge of your cashmere sweater so I’ve used it for that. I have used it to clean up crumbs, dirt, all kinds of different debris, skins, flaking debris, just enormously helpful when I in the hospital I am paralyzed and so having that on me at all times kiss my pants clean my front clean, and I don’t have to worry about people looking at me funny. LolThey came out with a new one it’s white it’s beautiful and it has a attachment for the front of it to get taller a little things without getting down into the fabric. It just sucks destroys debris like I said earlier anything that’s around me or if I’m in bed and I eat something and little crumbs, you know how they get around your waist and area and you’re like brushing them off one of the floor I just take my Remover my Taurus remover and turn it on and stick it all up and under a minute both sides. My wife has taken to laying out some of my nicer clothes that I couldn’t wear anymore because the cashmere and they don’t they’re not supposed to have little piling dots on them and that’s what happens overtime and the being washed rather than dry cleaned you can get these little pills. They look like a little teeny round pills And this remover removes those pills like you can’t even imagine it just zips them right off and can take your 15-year-old cashmere jacket and make it look like brand new. I have also used it on socks, short socks, that I like to wear, and for whatever reason , they’d like to get their little pieces of pile and little pills stuck on top of mostly on the inside I’ll turn them inside out and the tow box is a mess and so I turn on my trimmer and I put on the little plastic piece and I go over my sock with it and it trims the little bit of where the tow boxes and the seams meet And if I want to get closer I pull off the plastic piece of front and go straight metal to it. I’ll use my fingers on the inside the stretch it out and it just makes them a lot more comfortable. It’s also made me catch a little sticks and little pieces that didn’t get washed out And buy. If it doesn’t get rid of them outright it pulls them up enough to where I can pull them out.As I was talking about in the video, I took this to a wedding and only had was the purple one, and they’re basically the same thing except for a little attachment and the white one has a nice bag for it and the white one is freaking beautiful so at the wedding we blew little debris pieces off from the backside, the venting area, and if someone was being stubborn or small little flakes to start to get into the fabric guys have a little bit of dandruff Girls too and the lent removing side just suck some poles all of that out of there and leaves the material clean look like brand new all of the guys we cleaned them on the way there. My daughter cleaned me while we were there everybody that was dressed in black was using it. It was awesome , there are not that many products that I get that I can actually say this is worth the money and there’s discounts going on it right now, take advantage of it. Works well. Better than others I have had

This is a great sweater shaver/ lint remover. It’s not great with dog hair though. I was hoping for a one stop shop and this is good but not great. It is powerful and easy to empty.

Straight out of the box, I fully charged it and it did not work. Did not turn on but showed it was charged. Waste of time and money!

This is quite the machine. It is very, very powerful. I would only use it on the low settings and be very careful that your fabric is flat. It absolutely does work however, if you’re not careful and you’re working with a thinner material, it can make a hole very easily I mixed on it. It’s a love-hate relationship like I said it works, but it works like a monster.
