This is a great starter set for someone looking to try pickleball or play casually. It includes two paddles, four balls (two types), and a very nice padded carrying bag with straps.The paddles feel very light in your hand (they each weigh about half a pound). The wrap tape is soft and grippy and comfortable to hold. The surface and edges are plastic but they overall feel well made and durable.I also really like the carrying bag. It has plenty of room to hold the paddles and balls with some extra space to store a towel or an extra shirt. It has a handle as well as an adjustable shoulder strap. The front and back of the bag are a little padded to protect the paddles or whatever you may keep inside.If you're very serious about pickleball this may not be the set for you, but for the price the set is well made and includes everything you need for a casual game.

Since this sport is trending and a lot of my friends are into it it, decide to get pair of paddles myself. From what I can tell paddles are good quality, my friends have more premium paddles and they seems similar in quality.These paddles are a bit heavier than more expensive ones, but still feel quite light and durable.Handles are with any slippery tape so you can get good grip. I had a lot of fun to play once I was them well. I'm taking a start down since it took me two days of washing paddles and balls to get rid of smell. Not sure why but bag and all items in it smelled really bad. Needed to wash everything multiple times to get rid of smell. Not sure if it's a problem with this item or I just got unlucky. I needed to throw bag in garbage since I couldn't get rid of smell in bag.Either way paddles are good value for the money, I was able to play and had ton of fun. Hope your set will not stink

Definitely a good beginner set of pickleball paddles. Great to get you and a friend on the courts! This comes with a neat little carry bag and four pickleball balls to get you started. I don't think this bag is going to be your all-around carry solution, but it does keep your pickleball tools in one neat place.I'll call this average based on the listing description and the weight discrepancy. For beginners. You probably won't care but one paddle came in at 243 g and the other came in at 232. Possibly this is due to the grip tape or inconsistent adhesive used to bind the paddle. I can only Wonder.. anyway, based on pickleball standards The heavier paddle is considered heavyweight and the other one is middleweight/ borders heavy weight. I raise this because it depends on your play. Style: tennis players typically lean towards the heavyweight paddles and because of the added weight, you don't need to put a lot of power in your swing, downside is it is heavier.The handle has a standard grip rap that has a little bit of cushion and isn't tacky.The paddle surface is pretty much smooth. There might be some micro texture in there, but you wouldn't be able to feel it.Aside from the weight, this is a well-constructed paddle.At this price point and the accessories, the weight shouldn't really matter if you're just trying to break in to the pickleball scene: if you're not sure if you'll stick with the game, it's a small price to pay, but if you like it, I'd advise you upgrading to something with more suited to your play style.

First and foremost, I've seen this repeatedly on more than one pickleball paddle I've reviewed, and what "this" is, is the false claim of "USA Pickleball approval." The paddles in this kit are NOT USA Pickleball approved and any claims of said approval are patently false. I went to the USA Pickleball Association website and put Zornay in the search bar for "Manufacturer" and what did it return? THIS: "This search returned no results," which means these paddles are NOT approved, so they aren't permitted to be used in sanctioned games. When I type in the names of other manufacturers who I know have sanctioned paddles, all of their approved paddles appear. I attached a screenshot of my search on the USA Pickleball Association's website when I searched it for approved Zornay paddles and it returned no results.To the kit, it's a good kit for beginners, families, adults, and starters. After having played with plywood paddles, these paddles feel like nothing. Very light weight, yet still solid paddles.The paddles have a plastic rim, similar to other paddles in this price range. The handle feels nice and is covered in tape like a tennis racket.I see pickleball as a fun activity and don't take it too serious. Unsurprisingly, I didn't know that there are "indoor" and "outdoor" balls. But I like the idea of different speed balls.Shape, handle, the carrying bag - all that looks very much like other sets. You get a nice set of two paddles and different balls. Whether it is worth it, depends on the current price. When I received it for review, the current price was twice as much as similar USAPA approved sets.
