I recently learned I should only be using glass and stainless steel due to my thyroid issues that is now affecting my liver. My sister paid for this set for me so I could get them quickly. They are heavy and thick, which is why I chose them. They arrived quickly and I just finished unpacking them to wash them. The next to last container’s small lid had a broken latch which was quite disappointing, otherwise, the set is intact and looks great. Hopefully, they will send me a replacement lid for the broken small lid. They stack neatly and I look forward to using them. Plastic has always been convenient and easy, but we are paying a big price by using it, organ wise. The sizes are perfect and seal well to keep food fresh longer. I can prep my salads as soon as Misfits Market delivers on Fridays before putting anything in the fridge. The plastic containers I had were too small for that. If these hold up well and they replace the lid, I’ll update my rating and order more.

I really like these containers they seal really well are obviously very airtight. I can put half of an avocado in one with the pit in it. (The pit helps to keep the avo fresh and keep it from turning brown, tho the surface will still get a bit discolored, for those who do not know.:) however, even the exposed part of the avocado doesn’t become discolored at all in these containers in the fridge. I only gave four stars simply because one of the lids doesn’t snap on properly no matter what I do I can’t get it to close fully. I get it defects happen sometimes, but I have contacted the company or attempted to three times twice via email once on a phone call, left a message; and they have never reached back out to me. I was hoping they would offer to send me a free replacement lid but if not, I would like to purchase a replacement lid, however no response it’s been a couple weeks now. I will try one more time on Monday to call them, but I’m very disappointed in their customer service or lack their offer, I should say!

Great containers, worth the price.They are great for meal prep cooking and portion measuring. This way I cook it in the container and I know all the macros that I'll be eating and it doesn't stick to bottom. They are easy to clean once soaked, you can cut inside without worrying you will damage the surface and lid is part glass too. Thick material that will last for a very long time, and don't have to worry about microplastics. Expensive but it is to be expected, I think it's worth the money. I've changed so many plastic containers over the years and spent a lot money on them, but they get stained red or plastic goes funny and they end up in the bin.So I thought I will try this timeless option.The only downside is the weight, but that is to be expected.

Beautifully packed for safety of glass. Sturdy feeling glass and lids seem sturdy and well designed - the air vent is perfect for microwaving. Only time will tell how well they last.I’ve now used them in the fridge, freezer, oven and microwave and all seem good. Nicely rounded corners so they are easy to clean.I’ve recycled my crazy array of plastic food storage/ cookware and only use these glass ones now (apart from pans on the hob). Because it’s such a comprehensive range of shapes and sizes, there’s one for everything and I can’t imagine running out, even when batch cooking. So easy to cook, cool and put in the freezer - and reheat all in the same container. Supposed to be healthier than cooking/ storing in plastic. And they stack neatly for storage!You do need to be a bit more mindful than with plastic as they’d probably break if you dropped them but it’s just another habit to develop.Should the plastic on the lids ever wear out, can one buy just lids to replace?It might seem quite a lot to outlay on these but they’re very good value for the money, hope they’ll last well and I thoroughly recommended them.
