I've become a huge fan of tallow based balms and skin creams over the past year and this one has not disappointed me.It comes in a sealed box and a screw top jar. The balm itself is a thick cream. Thicker than many of the whipped tallow balms I have used. There is no scent.I am not using this as a face cream because it is so thick. Instead I am using it as a hand cream, and on elbows, heals, legs, and arms. A little bit warmed between my palms goes on smoothly and absorbs quickly without leaving any greasy feel or residue. On my hands it creates a bit of a water beading effect for a short while after application so I am loving it for a pre and post dish washing hand cream.The ingredients start with Tallow Balm and Bees Wax in that order and there are no chemical or harsh ingredients following. It also has botanical oils traditionally used to sooth the skin so if you have allergies be aware.Over all a high quality tallow balm that works well.A good value given that a little goes a long way and this 5 oz jar should last quite a while even with frequent use.

Tallow had kind of freaked me out a bit -- I was concerned it would be greasy and smell off. This is neither of those.Applying this is easy -- it goes on your skin without leaving streaks behind, and the texture is equivalent to other face lotions I've used in the past. I was pleased with the quality and equivalent textural experience I've had with non-tallow lotions.My skin did not feel greasy after, which was also excellent -- I was concerned the greasiness of beef would translate to a greasy face.Greasiness 1/10.

This tallow balm is thick, creamy and goes on smooth. It is absorbed by the skin pretty fast and doesn't leave a greasy residue behind. It seems to moisturize my skin fairly well. There is a slight natural scent but not bad or strong. I have tried many tallow creams and balms and to me this has more of a cream texture, like a body butter, rather than a balm, like listed.It has 8 ingredients, which is a few more then some of balms I like to use. It contains grass-fed tallow, beeswax, wild honey, olive oil, jojoba oil, Shea butter, calendula, chamomile oil. You get 5oz, which is more than most brands, but I felt I needed to use more product than many of the tallow balms I use regularly. I never knew about using beef tallow on your skin until a few months ago. I had to try it out after hearing mixed opinions on it. Since I've been using this product, my skin is so much more healthy looking! I like to put a lot of this on to make sure that I really massage it into my skin. I like to put it on in the morning and at night. I have sensitive skin and I haven't broken out at all from it!!! That is a huge win for me in itself!!!

This cream is moist, absorbs quickly and leaves my skin looking healthy with a nice glow. The lotion is a creamy white with no smell or greasiness. It really helps me since my house has hard water, before using it I had dry elbows and flaky skin all over. Now, my skin is soft and healthy looking. It is a small container, so you can't use it all over or else you'll run out quickly, so I've been using it on my face, neck, and arms. It worked well on my feet when they were getting dry. I had a partial sunburn on my shoulders and rubbing this on it helped it heal without peeling.

I absolutely love this face cream! I'm new to Tallow balm, but I've been hearing about it a lot lately. I saw this brand and thought I'd give it a try. I'm very impressed with it. It really seems like a very nice quality. All the ingredients seem great. The cream is thick, but goes on nicely. It leaves your skin feeling nice and soft. Not oily. I haven't been using it very long, but I can already see a difference in my skin and I'm sure I'll see more. It's priced nicely. I will definitely purchase more! I would absolutely recommend trying it!

I've become a huge fan of beef tallow creams over the last year because it is an excellent moisturizer for both face and body. Some of the creams I've tried have as little as 3 ingredients. This Acosexy tallow cream, while all natural, has a few extra ingredients and seems to be a tad too rich for my facial skin. It is still a great body moisturizer for me and comes in a much larger jar than any others I've gotten. I love that I don't need to use much and it absorbs into my skin quickly.
