This is a unique design that is space saving, minimal as not to stand out visually or physically, and modular! I didn't discover the modular part until I received it. I purchased two, this 6 foot with the basic blank plate outlet cover and a 15 foot with the same outlet cover but with two 2-prong plugins hidden along the bottom of the plate and oriented to be flat against the wall as well, maintaining the space savings. It's really rather clever. But to my surprise, after opening both, the outlet covers can be swapped, if that happens to fit your situation better. Or, you can leave the cover off entirely and it's still a space saving flat plug.Normally I shy away from the "letter salad" brands from experience, but I found these at 50% off, which made them extremely affordable but the full price was still a value. I just hope these weren't a close-out and stick around because I could use a couple more.

Ok.... short cord.

This is a really cool idea in concept, but it was out of alignment with my outlet. I attached a photo to show that it fell a little short to clear the top of the outlet, which causes it to sit at an angle so that the bottom plug is not fully plugged in to the wall. It's like it needs to be taller, and more hollowed out in the back. I tried this on 2 or 3 different outlets and could not use it. The good news is that you can use just the flat white plug, without the blank cover, so I will probably do that to have the slim look in the kitchen and still be able to plug 3 devices into one plug.

This thing is OK, but I don't particularly like the 'feel' of it: It's made of rather brittle plastic that feels like cheap styrene or something. There's a gap where the cord meets the extension block that seems a little suspect, though this product is ETL listed for safety. I was also surprised at how big and bulky the wall plate cover is, but I should have realized that, given the fact that this one has additional outlets on that cover. On that note, if you want to use those outlets (that are situated at the bottom edge of the cover), you'll need plugs that are very small and slim. I wanted to use this on a late model waterproof/GFCI receptacle in a bathroom, and was disappointed to see that this product's cover does not fit well because the outlet on those type of receptacles protrudes a lot. In order to use this, I will need to jerry rig some kind of solution to effectively cover the unsightly outlet and keep the cover from falling off. There are other products very similar to this one at slightly better prices. Depending on your specific needs, this can be a good choice ...or not.

I really like this low-profile power outlet extender. This is about as low-profile as you can possibly get without replacing the actual outlet with a specialized recessed outlet like they make to go behind wall-mounted TVs. I think this product really shines for making use of a power outlet that is behind furniture that must be pushed up directly against the wall. In that scenario this is the only possible way to make use of the outlet without busting out the tools and installing a recessed outlet.One that I found strange is that it comes with two options for the wall plate. To be honest I find it very bizarre they even include the 2nd plate. I have a hard time understanding the use case and an even harder time understanding why the product listing and user manual don't even mention the existence of the 2nd plate or what it's intended use case might be...but here's my take on the difference between the two:1) The first option which is what comes already attached to the cord is where the cord plugs into the bottom outlet and provides the extension cord splitter part with 3 grounded outlets...and then the plate has hot/neutral lugs that plug into the top outlet and extends those down to the bottom of the plate so you can connect two 2-prong devices. So with the first option you get 2x 2-prong plugs and 3x 3-prong plugs.2) With the 2nd plate option you basically forego the 2x 2-prong plugs. I assume the intended use-case for that plate is for a situation where you specifically don't want to have the ability to plug anything into the outlet itself. Maybe you just want a cleaner look without additional devices hanging down (but in that case you could just not plug anything into the bottom outlets?). The only use case that makes sense to me is if you want to use the outlet while also ensuring a small child can't stick something into the plugs. So you use the 2nd plate which doesn't have any holes they can stick something into...and then run the cord somewhere out of reach to plug in your devices.As far as I can tell the overall profile is identical regardless of which plate you choose.3) you can also technically just use the 3-prong part without any plate and that will save you another few millimeters of depth.

Great extension cord for tight spaces. It works exactly as it should. I can easily place it behind furniture. It is not much thicker than a regular outlet without any plugs in it. Works well and reasonably priced.

This thing was so difficult to use. If you use this you cant have really any other outlet connected in that same spot. Not even another flat outlet connected or an outlet cover! I tried putting it behind my sofa where I literally only have an outlet cover (because I live in a apartment that has pest so I use the outlet to cover it from allowing any uninvited guest to come in) and it wouldn’t fit because of this outlet. Which was kind of annoying. It was good quality but super hard to work with. I personally didn’t like it and found it to be such a waste of time. If you don’t have a pest problem and don’t need to cover your outlets for whatever reason or etc then this is perfect. I do feel it would work it just didn’t work in my case.
