Looks nice and not too bright on sides of garage

Great lights for front entry gate! We really love these lights! They are a great value for the money! They are not too large or too small... they were just the right size to make a statement on our front gate!

These solar wall lights look great and install easily, but the battery life disappoints. After the sun goes down around 6pm, these lights run out of power before 10pm,only a handful of hours of illumination. The all-metal construction feels solid and the design complements most exterior aesthetics nicely. Installation required minimal effort with the included hardware. They have been standing up fine to our rain this season. However, if you're looking for functional lighting that lasts through the evening hours, these won't meet that need. The limited runtime makes them more decorative than practical for security or pathway illumination. For areas where you only need brief evening lighting, they work fine, but I'd recommend hardwired options for reliable all-night coverage.

These lanterns were much heavier than I expected. They are built nicely and look great. The problem I had was that the ease of installation wasn't as easy as I thought it would be. The wall brackets wouldn't lay flat against the hanging surface and neither of the bulbs arrived in working order. I ended up returning them out of frustration with the installation. It's possible it came with the wrong brackets, or I just wasn't handy enough to install them. I would still recommend these for the quality and value. I just ran out of patience.

I feel like a dummy... I received these lights and I let them sit in the sun for 2 days to charge. When night came, I pushed the on/off button and got nothing on either light. So I did an exchange hoping a new set would work. 2nd set came, same thing. Ok, there is no way that this would happen to 2 different sets, so I knew I was doing something wrong. I fiddled with the power button, pushed it left and right, up and down when it really only needs to go in and out. Nothing. I pressed the power button and held it for 5 seconds... let there be light! And there was light!!! Ugh, there's that user error again...The lights are nice and bright but not TOO bright with a warm glow. I'm using them in 2 different corners of my property that needed to be lit up and wow - they do a great job! Definitely am going to get another set!

Great product for value

Very nice quality solar lamps. Stay on until morning with full sun. Would be nice if they had a bottom so bugs don’t fly around bulb. Worth the price.

Very easy to install, look classy. I have bought 8 and although I have had them less than a month they look and work great. The only issue is you cannot buy them separately --I just need 1 more but don't want to buy 2-would be nice if there was that option. Very Happy with this product.

I live in an old house that has poor access to exterior electrical outlets, so when possible, we are always looking to light our outdoor space with solar powered anything.The Pros:- these lights look very nice, aesthetically, and fit in well with the other outdoor lighting we currently have- the lighting is stronger than anticipated, especially because they are solar-poweredThe Cons:- the lights are showing a small amount of weathering, and I should probably have brought them inside for the winter, but did notOverall:- the lights meet my expectations, and the weathering on the plastic can be easily avoided if not used during a Canadian winter

When you consider that you get TWO complete fixtures. Each fixture has two LED lights (one facing up, the other facing down). IN addition the the included LED lights, each fixture has a 2.2AH (2200mAH) battery, a 1.5W solar panel and a motion detector. Installation is fairly easy. Included is a template to place the mounting screws. Once the screws are correctly installed on the wall you simply hook the light fixture on them. An instruction sheet is included.I have reduced my rating by ONE STAR because the instructions are not very well written. Perhaps it's due simply to a bad translation into English. Only after re-reading them a couple times was I able to understand what it explained in some parts. The product description on the Amazon selling page provided clearer information on some the features and functioning of these lights than the included instruction/information sheet does.I have reduced my rating by another star for the following reason. The selling description states that "5 hours of sun delivers over 10 hours of warm, 'automatic illumination' ". Elsewhere it states: "5-6 hours auto charging gives 10-12 hours 'Auto Lighting' ". Notice that it says "Auto Lighting" (not "lighting"). One of the description pictures at the bottom states "up to 10+ Hours Working Time". These lights have 3 different "ON" options: (1) if it's dark, the lights are on at Low brightness mode and it goes to full brightness on motion detection, (2) if it's dark, the light (at full brightness) only comes on if there is motion, (3) if it's dark the light is constantly on in bright mode. I feel that you might get 10 hours of "lighting" out of them if it is used in mode 2, and likely less in mode 3 (in each case dependant on how many "motion" detection events there are). Certainly I doubt you'll get 10 hours of constantly full brightness mode lighting - I didn't. I got from around 2.5 to 4 hours of constant lighting - depending on how much sunlight was available for charging the day before. This description at best is to some degree misleading.So in summary, I do feel technically that you get your money's worth for these lights. I installed this on the side of my garage in the backyard facing East. If it's sunny out, it will get plenty of morning sun until about noon since there's very few trees and no tall buildings nearby.It charges well and lasts at least past 1am on dim light. This is based on what I have observed only. I go to bed around 1am so unfortunately, I don't know until what time the charge lasts. It's autumn, so sunset is just a little past 6pm here lately. I've set them both on mode 1 so they have dim lights from dusk to dawn and only brightens up when it senses movements within the area. By the time I look out at 7am, although it was still dark outside for another hour and a half, they aren't lit anymore.Installation was really quick and easy with the included template for drilling holes. I used my own screws since I longer ones.I've noticed though that it doesn't always brighten up when I pass by and it dims back really fast, just around 10 seconds (I timed a few instances). Perhaps it's because it doesn't always get charged properly, I will have to observe longer.
