This camera is amazing for the value and completely blew my expectations. Setup took just a few minutes to connect, and the app is incredibly easy to use, even if you’re not very tech savvy. The picture quality is clear, notifications come through fast, and checking the live view is really easy. If you want a security camera that’s affordable, reliable, and simple to use without dealing with complicated setup, I definitely recommend this one!

So far I am loving this mini camera! For those who live in Public Housing or visited one, you'll recognize instantly the look of these hallways from my screenshot. You know the importance of having things like these for various reasons, but on top of that list are: overall safety and theft of packages.After reading mixed reviews, I took a leap of faith in mine and let me say the video and sound quality are great! No complaints!Easy to set up. Just download the Blink Home Monitoring app, (yes that's the exact app name), set up a Blink account if you're new to Blink, link/pair your Blink account to your new device and you get a free 30-day trial of a Blink plan). Even the plans are pretty okay in prices (most expensive one I saw was about $20/month).Its perfect in size: PERFECT for apartment buildings, I have Verizon Fios at home so the connection is very strong for me - no connection issues for me whatsoever.As far as mounting, because these are concrete walls, I had no other choice but to use a double sided, industrial strength type of tape that I use for EVERYTHING around the house, so I didnt have to nail or drill anything.I know everyone has been having mixed reviews but Im loving mine as mentioned so on my end, I highly recommend it. Just look how clear my view is!!

The camera does pretty much what they claim. I bought it to spy on my mother's care givers, but never set it up as such. Recently I set it up in conjunction with two outdoor cameras to watch over my house while I took a trip. The app was fairly easy to set up, and they remote arming and disarming worked adequately. The audio is relatively poor, but, with fine hearing, can be understood. Resolution is good, and I have it set to record directly to a USB stick and do NOT use the cloud storage, thus, in theory, limiting Amazon's access to my data.I have this camera on top of a china cabinet to monitor the front door. When armed it usually detects if the door opens. My sister also monitors my cameras and sometimes will speak to me over this one when I come in the door.Deficiencies:1) This camera is powered by a USB cable and must be plugged in to a powered USB connection or power block. This means that, unless that connection is on a UPS, if your house power goes out, the camera ceases to function.2) Amazon can, and does monitor the camera (at least the audio) and will use that information for their own ends. Today I came in the door and my sister talked to me through the camera and I told her I had bought 120 lbs of birdseed. Afterwards I signed on to Amazon to order some items, and the "Recommended for Me" area at the bottom of the page was nothing but BIRDSEED! I do not know if the Amazon AIs also monitor the video but they are certainly tuned into the audio!Bottom line: A nice little camera that will perform as advertised, IF YOU DON'T MIND AMAZON LISTENING IN. As a result, I strongly recommend that you do NOT have the camera aimed at any place where you would perform anything of a sensitive nature, such as a safe combination, or a computer screen where you will enter usernames and passwords, just in case they monitor the video as diligently as they do the audio.

Purchased camera last month in May to keep an eye on our tortoise while away. One of the best purchases we could have made to bring peace of mind. For the price being half what other cameras are - the picture quality is great, very clear and has a zoom in feature on the app so you can see better. Audio is wonderful, speaking through camera can be a little patchy at times but overall okay. Very easy to mount, install, and have a working camera within 15 minutes. App is wonderful to navigate through. There is a record button, along with motion sensor. Camera will send notifications to your phone. Overall a wonderful, cheap camera option! The only thing I have noticed that could be tweaked, is pictures can cut out, here and there, for a couple seconds at a time.I have never purchased a camera before so was skeptical to which would be best - So glad we went with this one!!! We have ordered more to place in other areas of our home.

Great camera for the price! The video quality is clear, setup was simple, and it does exactly what I need for basic home monitoring. It’s a solid, affordable option if you’re looking for something reliable without spending too much.The only downside is the app—it can be a bit wonky at times. That said, it’s more of a software issue than anything with the camera itself. If they gave the app a little more attention, this would easily be perfect. Overall, still very happy with my purchase! Battery life is good just needs to be plugged.

Works great!! Very nice quality quick and easy set up, I bought this to keep an eye on my dog when I’m not home as I’m trying to allow her to stay out of the cage when I leave home.

I pre-ordered 4 cameras without any reviews having been posted, so I hope that this helps someone. First off, the cameras are pretty nice, very easy to setup and get connected and the price is just about perfect. The app is where things start to fall apart. It clearly was created for the other Blink cameras that are battery dependent, so most of the quirks/problems I found are probably necessary for battery savings on the other Blink cameras. I have had cameras for well over ten years and have gone through several different apps/programs to access and store the video but I have never had an app that did NOT allow me to view all of my cameras at the same time. This one requires you to select a single camera and activate it individually to view real time video. I assume that this was designed for battery savings, but since these cameras are always on, it now serves no purpose. Additionally, not having the ability to view all of my cameras, while activated in a single 4 pane window seems a step in the wrong direction. For years I have been able to see live feeds in a multi-pane format and select the camera I want to zoom in on that one, not with this app.Second, tech support is, at best, not good. I contacted them regarding the IR light that apparently can NOT be turned off (although you can turn it off via the app for the other Blink cameras?!) and the support tech actually stated that he did not know anything about these cameras and had to ask someone else. That was a first for me. The IR light is probably not a big deal for most, but I have for years had an indoor camera pointed out a window since my front yard is pretty well lit at night and the IR light stuck in the ON position make that impossible.I never review anything, but I wanted to get the word out on this. I suspect that these cameras were kind of rushed and the app just re-purposed, so it my sincere hope that they will address the live view concerns in future app updates specific to Blink Mini owners. Soon I hope!!!! Here's to hoping!Update: I was contacted by Blink following regarding my review. They indicated that multiple people had voiced similar concerns about the apps real-time capabilities and they made it sound like they were developing an update to the app to address this. They also offered to send me an additional camera (an older model) that does allow you to turn off the IR at no charge. I asked directly if this would be in exchange for changing my review and they specifically did NOT ask me to amend this review. If nothing else, that is GREAT customer service.
