Awesome paddle

Decent beginner paddle at a decent price point. This paddle has good control and feel. The grip is thick and comfortable. My only issue with this paddle is that it doesn't have the same "pop" off the paddle that some of my other preferred paddles have (off brand cheap Amazon paddles) and it feels and sounds more like a piece of hollow wood. Again, still a solid paddle that will keep you in the game, but I wouldn't say that this has the power that some other paddles have.

Paddle worked fantastic for first full day of playing. It handled very well with a pretty good size sweet spot. The control was actually very nice as well compared to similar priced paddles I’ve used previously. The grip is also phenomenal compared to some others in the price range. Overall, it performs great and would definitely recommend for a good all around novice paddle. SLK for the win.

As expected from a Selkirk product, this paddle lives up to the hype. It is much better than the entry level paddle I was using. It has a nice sweet spot that is very forgiving on those hard shots and absorbs the power and allows me to return the ball where I want to. It has a nice surface for spins and is perfect for a control game with just enough power to make returns difficult I will trade up at some point but for my game now, this paddle is perfect.

This is a solid paddle for a beginner player. The grip is good and the surface area is nice. I don't think the sweet spot is large, but again, it's a beginner paddle. Own three of them, and the QA/QC needs to be better. One of the paddles lost its surface texture after two uses, and another cracked.

Awesome racket. Nice and light weight and fits my hand perfectly.

Is basically decent but has some dead spots that bothered me while playing. But everyone has different preferences so it might work for you just fine.
