Oh my god!!! So in love with my new Keurig! Its absolutely breathtaking! Haven't even tried it out yet! Ran to give my first impression!!! What can go wrong other than it not working or being loud as some mentioned which isn't such a bother to me because some do run louder than others anyway! But i just love it and i know I've made a great choice! I'm just that confident because Keurig makes good quality products! 🙂Update: I've actually put the Keurig to the test! Everything is good and works perfectly! And to mention i dont think its loud at all. Actually its pretty quiet especially comparing it to the other older model i had!It runs so smoothly. I'm very happy with it!
Years ago I received a secondhand Keurig from my local "everything free" group. It was the original model, a big sucker. Definitely more firepower than I needed but so powerful and dominant I could not resist it.That machine became vital to my ADHD morning routine. No more spilling stuff everywhere, no more folded-over coffee filter and cup full of grounds and water. No more being late because I had to babysit my coffee maker. I could just pop the pod in, press a button, and go. My life was improved. That machine was an absolute workhorse but sadly after constant use it began shutting itself off and not restarting. It was time to move on.I initially purchased a knock-off k-cup machine. It promised that it would make both iced and hot coffee for $20 less. It wove a web of lies that ensnared me. I won't get into what was wrong with it, that is for another review. What I will say is that I returned it promptly and ordered this brand new fancy baby Keurig. This machine, which I will call K-Pod Demon Hunter, heats quickly -- like almost immediately. It brews a perfect cup every time. It makes pleasant noises while it works that let me know it's happy. I am also happy. We are happy together, like the song. The only thing I do not like about this machine is the color. It was on sale because it's a "holiday color" but it is not attractive. It is ugly. It's the color you see in winter coats on sale. Your chain-smoking great aunt who is obsessed with true crime and criticizes your life choices but may leave you some money when she dies has a jacket in this color. It's neither red nor purple nor magenta. It has a touch of brown but it's not rust. Nobody likes this color. Nobody has ever liked this color. It's not a color that will become retro at any point. This color is neither pleasing to the eye nor soothing to the spirit. But I'm not perfect either and K-pod Demon Hunter accepts me as I am. I am writing this review in a different room so it can't hear me and feel hurt. Perhaps over time I will learn to love this color because I love the machine in which it is swathed. Unlikely, but they say that love can work miracles.Reader, I wish you all the best in your coffee journey. I hope that you find love like I did with K-Pod Demon Hunter. Heed my words and do not be tempted by off-brand substitutes and their beautiful lies. They won't understand you. They won't respect you. They won't be there for you in your time of need like K-Pod Demon Hunter is for me. I want you to have what I have. Your happiness is important to me.
I love my Keurig coffee maker so much that I bought two. This model has a small footprint and works fast to produce a steamy delicious cup every time. I like the 3 brew sizes, and the strong button is my go-to selection for each cup. This one looks great on my kitchen counter too. The best part is simplicity, you don't need a PHD to brew a tasty cup of joe.I love this so much I ignore the cons. It does make noise, but not so much to be annoying. If I could change one thing, it would be that the coffee splatters on my white counter. Easy enough to wipe up so this is not a deal breaker.
This Keurig K-Express has been great for quick, no-hassle coffee. It heats up fast and brews a cup in just a couple of minutes, which is perfect for busy mornings or when I just want something quick without the cleanup.I like that it offers multiple brew sizes, and the “Strong” button actually makes a noticeable difference if you want a bolder cup. The coffee comes out hot and consistent every time, and I haven’t had any issues with performance so far.The design is compact and fits nicely on the counter without taking up too much space. It’s also really easy to use — just pop in a pod, press a button, and you’re good to go.If I had to mention one small downside, it’s that the water reservoir is on the smaller side, so you may need to refill it more often if you drink multiple cups a day. But that’s pretty standard for a compact machine like this.Overall, it’s a reliable and convenient coffee maker that does exactly what it’s supposed to do. Great option if you want something simple, fast, and consistent.
First, an introduction, this will take some going through, bear with me. First, I had refused for years to get a Keurig, as I did not feel the quality and richness of a good strong cup of coffee was possible. But I finally got tired of trying other methods of brewing, from using a regular single cup espresso maker, moka pot, pour over, French press... I finally opted for the ease of a Keurig mini-plus. Coffee was ...eh... I switched coffee brands, to what I feel has to be the best commercial brand. And the coffee was EXcellenT! About a year later, despite regular cleaning cycles, the thing just stopped working. I tried to take it apart, watched some youtube videos which just solidified the fact that the company made these non-serviceable. P.O.'d at this obvious tactic to sell more, I waited a few weeks, but went and got another one. Same deal a year later. Another one. This last one gave me signs before ending it's own life. I would have to run several cycles where nothing would come out... till finally something... drip... by drip... several hours later, the thing would start running again, only to stop again the next day or two. Finally, it just died.So I REFUSED to get another. These things are ridiculous, right? So I got a new French press. Coffee is great!! But... omg... what a pain cleaning that thing every.... single... time... I mean, really, it's no big deal. But, it CAn be. So I saw this thing on sale, I thought, well, it's HAlf the price of the other ones... and I def want something different this time. Cut to now....This thing has SEVERAL issues that I don't like. First of all, it is a thinner cheaper plastic, and has a cheap looking shine to it. Ok, I'm over it. The plastic... I mean, can't they make these things with glass reservoirs.... the plastic reservoir has screws on the inside of it. I don't care if they say it is food safe... Plastic is also considered food safe... but that doesn't mean it is.. those are just bureaucratic rhetoric lies. But I digress,...So this coffee maker has an adjustment for high altitude... is THAT what ruined my previous Keurigs? High altitude? Hmmm. Ok, so maybe that's a plus. It also has different sizes that you can choose -8,10, & 12 oz. With the mini-plus, you choose the size by the amount of water you pour in. That means that this one measures what it sucks in. Hmmm. The mini-plus had the controls on the top. Easy peasy. This one has the controls on the side. It also doesn't have rubber feet on the bottom. So when you try to push the buttons, the thing slides away from you. Impossible to push any buttons with one hand, you have to use two. Even with rubber feet, you have to use two hands. I'm not a paraplegic, but it's rather stupid to have to hold the thing to press a button or two, or three. Which is what you have to do. It's just really awkward because you really have to hold it in the back to keep it from moving when you press the button in front. And you have to do that without touching the reservoir, which will pop out if you tried that. But let's get to the coffee. So with the mini-plus, the first liquid out of the machine, was dark coffee. As it was finishing, the coffee would be a little more clear, but not pure water. With this machine, for the first few seconds, it is spewing out crystal clear WATER. I don't even know how that is possible. But this, it does. It also claims to be faster than the mini-cup. I hestitate to say "brews faster", because it doesn't brew, Keurigs simply spew water into and through the k-cup, it's a pressurized system, not a true brewing system. And it definitely IS faster. And that's a problem, as evidenced by the watery coffee that it spews out. Sure enough, the "coffee" tastes like water. This is the 8 oz brew, mind you, with the machine set to "strong". I first tried the 12oz, and ended up pouring it down the sink. The 8 oz wasn't much better. My next step is to switch out cups while it's pouring out the water at the beginning of the cycle and see if I can get a stronger "brew".All in all, it's convenient enough. But it will sit on my counter, mostly unused, for when I have those really lazy, sleepy, or sick days, when all I want to do is pop in a capsule, and deal with the rest of it... Very disappointed. Perhaps if you live in a low altitude area, the mini-plus would work for you. I really do recommend that one above this.
I am used to the old style coffee makers where you have to fill the little glass pitcher.. put the coffee in after measuring it perfectly hoping that it is not going to taste like crud... wait forever for the coffee to be made.. and after one cup you are stuck with how ever much you made in the pot. Nothing worse than burnt coffee. But this little Keurig fixes alllll of those problems. I had no clue these machines were so easy to use. Now I just fill the tank on the back, set a coffee pod in there.. place my coffee cup ready to catch the coffee.. and push the button for what size coffee i'm going to have. It comes out perfect every single time. The only issue with it that I saw was that the water level gets to a certain point and then it tells me to add more water when there is more than enough water in the tank for another cup of coffee. So you don't get more than about 2 cups or so out of the tank before it is saying to add more water again. At which point you look at the tank and mentally figure "ok, there's this much water.. and the cup is this big.. it shouldn't be telling me to add water." That is a bit of an annoyance. It is possible there is not enough water in there for a larger cup .. but if you are going for a small cup every time, and there's enough water in there, I feel it shouldn't tell you to add more water. But, it also isn't that difficult to go ahead and add a cup of water to the tank. It may be that the water level sensor (or whatever tells it to ask for more water) is not functioning quite right.. or it could be that it is made that way on purpose so that there's always enough water for a larger cup of coffee. Doesn't matter a whole lot in the end. This is all-in all a very nice product. I would like to be able to use the generic fill-it-yourself coffee pods and this machine does not seem to like those. I bought ones that even had removable inserts in the top to make the hole larger to fit more coffee makers.. and that didn't work well. I had to either force it closed and take a chance on busting the unit.. or had to give up on the idea of using the extra fill-it-yourself pods. In the end, I decided to stick with store bought brands of coffee pods. Not a huge problem .. but one to think about. For the most part, I am very happy with this machine. Any issues with it aren't that big of an issue. Thank you for a great little machine. :)
I love this coffee machine! I have been wanting one for years, but I could not afford it or the pods. This went on sale and I grabbed it, as it had been in my cart since before Christmas. It was a quick and easy setup right out the box, and the first cleaning process was simple. I thought I would have to use the “strong” brew button, because I do like a stronger cup of coffee, but my coffee came out perfect! To me, it’s much better than boiling water every morning for my instant coffee. It’s fast, very minimal noise as it brews, and I’ve made three cups of coffee so far, and there’s still plenty of water in the reservoir for another 3-4 cups. This is using your standard coffee cup, that is. I love the color and the clean lines. For the price, the quality of the coffee maker is superb. To me, it’s compact enough to bring on trips if I ever felt the need. This fits in so perfectly with my decor, and it’s not big and bulky, taking up a lot of space on my countertop. When I looked for this particular one in stores where I live, I could never I can’t wait to use it each morning.
The Keurig K-Express Single Serve Coffee Maker is a great choice if you want fast, hassle-free coffee without dealing with complicated setups. It’s very easy to use—just insert a K-Cup, press a button, and your coffee is ready in minutes. The Strong Brew option is a nice feature if you prefer a bolder cup, and you can choose different cup sizes depending on how much coffee you want. The machine is compact, so it fits well in smaller kitchens, dorms, or offices without taking up much space. The removable water reservoir also makes refilling simple. It heats up quickly and delivers consistent flavor, which is perfect for busy mornings.Overall, this is a reliable, convenient, and space-saving coffee maker that’s great for everyday use. ithout dealing with complicated setups.
I have been unable to use the item as the power plug does not meet Australian standards in fact when Itried to use the appliance it blew the electrical fuse making it in workable. As I purchased this in good faith not knowing I could not use it I would like to request a refund of the purchase price please
Not UK compatible. This is a US machine and is 110V! Shame on Amazon for selling this here.
It takes up little space, has a big water reservoir that detaches and a drip tray. It offers three different cup sizes for brewing and has a strong feature. For the price can't be beat. It gets the water hot enough to enjoy, but not kettle boiling hot. I figure it is similar to any other coffee maker in that regard. But if drinking right away, it is great. Perfect for small spaces, I use in my office when I don't feel like using my French Press.
