Absolutely phenomenal. The Best insulation!! I was hesitant to buy but I’m so glad we bought this before our trip so that our three golden retrievers can go in and out to the yard in the cold NJ winter weather in December!Installation: very very easy to install with removing the Velcro sticky side and attaching it to the edge over the patio door then simply stick the curtain to the Velcro. Remember to keep the opening on the door opening side for the doggie door or the patio door. It comes with the Velcro and thin tag like nails but you won’t need the nails. And install on the inside of the house side of the patio door not on the outside to protect against rough winds.The material is nice and thick and keeps the cold out!! We love it and our dogs approve it. They learned pretty fast including the 15 years old dog Genie and both 5 and 1 year old Goldens. Buy it you won’t regret.Tip: measure your patio door before ordering and order the correct size it fits the door perfect you can see in my picture and video.

I installed one of these last year and didn’t it use the tacks it came with as I didn’t want to put holes in the doorframe. As expected it didn’t hold.This year I used tacks and it hasn’t budged! This is outside my back door and is in constant use so I can let the dog out. I can keep the door open to keep an eye on the dog and this curtain shut keeps a good bit of cold outside where it belongs.The bottom of the curtain is. It flat against the doorframe so the seal isn’t perfect, but it does create a bubble of warmer air between my drafty door and the outside air, and keeps out the wind. Works in summer, too!

I live in an older home where the doors open outward under awnings. When the cold wind blows, it sure seems to seep in and when my heater or air conditioner kick in, you can feel the draft even with much weatherstripping around the door. I had bought a similar Curtain for the back door in the past and wanted one for the front door with a window in it. When helping a family member search these out she had told me she found one with a window that opened to one side rather than in the middle, and I had to have it.I can tell you that this curtain has made a cold winter so far much more tolerable in this house. This block so much cold air, but I feel like my gas bill is going to be much more manageable. When I reach through the magnets to open the door, you can feel how much cold air this is blocking from coming in the house. I also thought the window in it was Going to lead in a little extra air, but it is thick enough that it does not. I’d mention the other curtain I bought, which has no window opens in the middle, which has made the back of my house. Much warmer. This is doing the same for the front of my house. It is great!This is so easy to install. I would recommend making sure you buy the right size for the right door. I probably should’ve gotten one size larger but the trim around my door that the hook and loop tape goes on is extra wide and I was able to make it work. I will say if you stretch these too Tight, the magnets don’t seem to click in very well. The other issue I have which is not an issue to knock any stars off it is that I am blind and tall and I seem to catch this insulator at a weird angle and walk into it a lot. But that is something that I deal with and I would say if you’re a tall person you have to duck. All in all, this is a great idea and a great way to help lower those energy costs!

I do like this insulated curtain. There is a few things I stress over though.First, after you put the tape on and you put the curtain on the door frame trying to take that white peeling tape off, this is definitely made in China! We were constantly trying to pick the white tape off so we can stick it to the door. And I hate stickers because of this. It's definitely not a very good 3M tape if it's 3M at all. But the tape sticks pretty good so far, it's the white peeling tape that sucks!Second, you have to install this where the door is going away from you. And what sucks is all my doors inside my house pull towards me except bathroom and bedrooms. But the door I put it on, I put it on the opposite side and the good thing is that it doesn't go outside, it goes to the laundry room which is not insulated.Otherwise if you put it where the door pulls towards, you you're going to run with the issue of the doorknob, the top of the door, hinges and basically not able to really open the door very well.So far I like this. It seems pretty insulated and heavy duty and the magnets seem to be pretty good. It's only been one day, but I'm hoping this will help through the winter months. I want to buy one for our front door but it's going to have to go on the outside, which I'm not sure if I like that idea. But I'm still thinking about it. I wanted to try this one out first to see how it worked before buying the second one that I need. I'm really glad these are invented we've been using blankets and sheets over these doors that have openings from when the house settles. Having an older home, a house settles more.

I’m full time in a camper, my only door faces north west, this has helped immensely with the draft. The Velcro on the outside is good and strong and there’s enough magnets on the opening to keep it closed securely. My only fuss with it, it’s a little tight when you’re trying to get out the door with a gym bag, lunch box and two very excitable dogs. Otherwise great product, painless installation and they give a little extra Velcro in case you only measure once before cutting

We needed a temporary door/cover while renovations happened on attached office. This thing really helped alot. Kept out all dust, most of the paint smell, & kept the cool air in while AC was being replaced on other side. Definitely recommend!

Purchased January of 2025 for use over a sliding glass door in our living room. VERY noticeable difference in temperature near glass door and also blocked wisps coming in around edges when hard winds blew. Left up this past summer and was a huge difference during hot summer day temps. and late in the day when the sun shines directly on sliding glass door. So, it actually insulates/blocks well; keeps heat in and cold out. Or heat out and cool in. Measure carefully. Mine covered to edges of wood frame, so we used tacks. Magnetic split part works great for going in/out.

I've tried this twice on my front and back doors. It does help keep my downstairs warm but I can't open my doors when it is in use.

Je l’utilise pour bloquer le froid provenant d’une partie de mon appartement (une extension moins bien isolée), et la différence est vraiment notable, surtout par temps très froid au Québec, autour de -15 °C à -20 °C.On sent clairement une meilleure rétention de chaleur, ce qui aide aussi à faire des économies de chauffage. Pour cet usage, le produit fait exactement ce pour quoi il est conçu.La porte d’ouverture avec les aimants fonctionne très bien : elle se referme correctement, sans laisser passer d’air froid, et reste pratique au quotidien.👉 Seul point négatif :Les pushpins (punaises) fournies sont de qualité plutôt moyenne. Elles ne sont pas très solides pour être enfoncées dans des murs en gypse / J-PROC, surtout si le mur est un peu dur. C’est vraiment le seul aspect décevant.Pour ce qui est du velcro, il semble de bonne qualité, mais je ne l’ai pas utilisé afin de ne pas abîmer la peinture.👉 En résumé :Produit très efficace contre le froid, bien conçu, pratique à l’usage, et rentable à long terme. Mis à part les punaises, c’est un excellent achat que je recommande sans hésitation.

Amazing! I ordered it a few days before we had -50 here in Alberta to seal a door that freezes our home out in regular cold weather. It arrived right as we were at -38 and I ordered it big enough to cover the entire doorway, only down side it that It was too cold that the tape froze, and the walls are plaster which is impossible to use the tacks included. With it half on the wall we didn't go out the door at all during the -50 days, but wow am I IMPRESSED!! this still blocked the heavy drafts that come with the wind, it held up so well that we actually stayed warm inside and my plants didn't freeze like last year!

It's a little long and that's great the extra folds easily on the floor keeping COLD air OUT! No matter what you do older camper doors leak and that cold air can freeze You in the Dead of Winter! Excellent Product and magnets work Great well worth the money even has a window that lines up with the entrance window. Don't Freeze 🥶! It also has a hidden benefit, the metal frame around the door entrance was getting soaked from condensation, however this seems to keep the frame condensation free. Since the warm cabin air isn't touching the cold steel anymore as the product keeps it 98% condensation Free BONUS! I thought this would work and it does!!!

PROs:- Excellent insulation, it's saving us money on the gas bill- People and pets can go through easily and the magnets automatically close it- The window lets in light and gives visibilityCONs:- Although it mostly stays in place around the doorway with the strong velcro that's included, the very top of the opening can sag down a bit if the curtain gets tugged when going through it, and then it drags on the floor a bit and doesn't close very well. There are tacks included with the set to help prevent this.- It's not very attractive; my wife saw it and said "is that for our space ship?" hahaWe're having a January cold snap in Canada right now. This simple curtain insulates our drafty unheated mud room from the rest of our house so well, that tracked-in chunks of ice stay frozen for hours back there. Meanwhile, on the other side just a few feet away, our hallway thermostat is untouched by the cold. We used to have a regular heavy curtain hanging in that doorway, and while it was better than nothing, it was nowhere close to the insulation we have now with this item.

We're not at the extreme -40C winter temps yet but even with the chilly mornings you can tell it makes a difference when sitting near the patio doors - that's where our main-level desk space is for working from home and whoever sits there has to do door-duty to let our 3 Morkies in and out (which they want to do all day, whatever the temperature).They adapted to using it instantly and figured out the door will part when they push through it (we have it mounted so the side opening matches the sliding patio door). It mostly closes itself automatically but we probably need to adjust it slightly as it seems to be a bit too tight at the top (it's improving though, I think it's due to creases still in the plastic window).It's not the prettiest thing but you can't beat being warm and I expect it will make a difference to our heating bill over time.UPDATE: after being up for just a few days, the magnetic closing has already improved so I don't think we need to adjust it, just allow it to straighten out (should have done that when it was on the floor, but the pups wanted to play on it which made it difficult). Some gentle heat from a hair dryer may help with the process for the worse creases on the plastic part.
