I love these gel pens! I've been colouring more or less non-stop since they arrived. The variety of colours and sheen is just fantastic, and it adds a depth and character of life to anything I colour.I rated the sheerness a 4, but only because the pastels (as would be expected) are rather milky, and sometimes overlaps over the black lines when colouring. That said, while it's still visible, it becomes much less apparent after the ink dries.I think they'd be much better if they had a softer handling, like something to cushion the fingers while holding, as the pressure of the hard plastic can become a bit much after using one pen for a while. Other than that, they're a breeze to use.Some of them occasionally like to get temperamental and stop producing ink, and I have to lightly scribble a bit and adjust the angle until it starts to produce ink again. It's not much of a problem, as it doesn't happen very often, but it does happen.They're so smooth, though, and it really allows me to colour as swiftly as I'd like. Sometimes, when using coloured pencils, I become impatient, as I have so many ideas and I want them all completed as soon as possible lol and these gel pens really achieve that level of quick coverage that I've been dreaming of.I love the addition of neon glitter, as it pairs well with both the regular glitter and the regular neons. The combination really allows me to get playful with combinations and shadows and lighting.The regular glitter pens are just fantastic. When I look at the results under light, to see the glorious shimmer, it almost looks like a glittery velvet as the glitter is so pronounced. I love it so much. It's so visually satisfying.I'll likely be purchasing these again, as I swear I'm going to use them all up way sooner than I anticipated because I'm having such a good time!

I find a unique color or two with each pack of these types of pens from different companies. The swirl pens are not cool, they just look muddy. But this does come with an almsot-clear glitter pen, which is my favorite of the pack.

Love love love these gel pens. They don't seem to run out fast the swirlnpens are amazing. One thing I love is the color key card. You just color each coordinating box to that series. The pastels are great and there is even a almost flesh tone which I've yet to find one without buying a specific set. The glitters are so shimmery and the neons are so bright. The only con I would say is that I would want more classic colors. All in all good quality very affordable and seem to go a long way.

First of all, I’d like to mention that I never write reviews. If a product is really bad, I will merely return. Anyway, I have some past experiences with Castle, and I Am not unaccustomed to a brand like Castle having such major flaws. First of all, it’s difficult to tell which pens are which, and when you see this you will understand. Some are obvious…like the Glitter pens. I went through and labeled them all because it was easier to tell them apart that way. I am accustomed to Castle labeling each and every color…not making it confusing for the artist. I also took the time to color in each of the color squares because it would make identification easier. I also wanted to see if there were truly duplicates as another reviewer claimed. There are no duplicates, but I can understand why he would say that because some colors are very similar to others, but they turn out quite different.The second major flaw is that these pens are only filled 2/3 of the way, and they do not start writing with ease. After going through all 100 pens, coloring the key, labeling each pen, etc., I found one pen that didn’t work. It was so frustrating…a bit like doing a major jigsaw puzzle, and having one missing piece. I am not accustomed to Castle pens behaving like a stupid Bic stick pen. All the colors may be pretty, but they don’t work very well for a Castle product. I expect much more from Castle.After all that I went through, I found out that these pens do not blend at all…they probably layer quite well though.In any case, to help others avoid frustration, I showed two attached photos of the filled in color card so that you can see the available colors. I also labeled each and every pen, and the place in the pen holder to help people know what colors are which. It won’t be easy to tell from the photos, but you can if you try hard enough.Lastly, somebody asked what a swirl pen was, and they are the easiest to identify. They are pens with more than one color of ink in the barrel, and the resultant color is a blend of the colors in the barrel…so I took pictures of all the pens in the container with the labels.So, let me leave a note for Castle: these pens do not live up to your quality standards. Please do much better in the future. Also, please label all the colors. Not labeling colors caused me, and I imagine many others a lot of problems. So you need to work on that too.All in all, the pen set is a good value, and you will get a great many beautiful colors and types. The pen also has a small point which allows for great detailing work.So, don’t be afraid to buy the set, but beware of quality issues.

I've had these pens for a couple years now. The value you get out of these pens is incredible. They have a great writing flow to them, they don't get gummed up. They come with refills so when you run out you can just replace it really quickly and easily. The pens also dry fairly quickly which is great so you don't smug.

I love these pens. Smooth writing, beautiful colors, easy to blend when coloring. Dries very quick so you are not smudging when coloring. Only thing I would like more of is the basic colors. I knew there was only 4 classic colors when I ordered, but with a selection this big, I wish there was more nonglitter pink, purple, green ect. selection. Not neon, just classic. But I am so happy with what I did receive. Definately will be going back for more, without a doubt. So if you have been on the fence about ordering these, dont worry, you will love them!!!!!! Order them now....lol. thank you Castle Art for making my favorite relaxation time so much more enjoyable. So in love!!!!!!

The colors are nice and nice quality, the the ink is half of the pen in some colors , not all of them come full either ink

Arrivati in poche ore (ordinati ieri pomeriggio e consegnati stamattina presto)! Dentro una bella e solida scatola di cartone si trova il portapenne trasparente, concepito a fisarmonica per un intelligente risparmio di spazio; è robusto, ordinato, si ripiega su se stesso e resta fermo grazie a chiusure in velcro, mentre la patta superiore si chiude con bottoni a pressione. Le penne sono tutte ordinate per tipologia e colore e tutte FAVOLOSE! Le fluo son proprio fluo, le glitter davvero ben glitterate, le glitterate/fluo fighissime eccetera eccetera, e la scelta di colori è infinita. Su carta colorata poi sembrano ancora più divertenti. Penso proprio che possano fare la felicità di adulti, ragazzi e bambini e credo che in mano a un bravo illustratore darebbero risultati bellissimi. Adatte ai fanatici dei bullet journal decorati, a studenti creativi, disegnatori e illustratori professionisti e a chiunque voglia ritagliarsi un passatempo artistico anti stress. Se dureranno nel tempo allora il rapporto qualità prezzo sarà stato davvero ottimo. Quindi super consigliate anche come regalo natalizio per fare una splendida figura con poca spesa (questo set è il regalo di Natale per me da parte di mio figlio e si sono invertite le parti: quella felice come una bambina ero io hahahaha).

Riesige Farbauswahl, gute Qualität! Castle vermarktet sich etwas hochpreisiger als vergleichbare China-Marken hier auf Amazon und zeigt das mit recht edlem, leicht wiedererkennbarem Verpackungsdesign: daher gut geeignet als Geschenk.Ich besitze diverse große Sets an Buntstiften (Wachs-/Aquarell), Alkoholmarkern, Aquarellstiften, und Pastelkreiden und -stiften, das meiste in Profiqualität made in Europa, Japan oder US. Das hier war ein Spaßkauf für die Metallic- und Glitzerstifte zum doodlen und Dekorieren von Geschenken.Aber dieses Set ist das einzige, dass meinen kleinen, bisher malfaulen Neffen so begeistert hat, dass er eigenständig an 2 darauffolgenden Tagen insgesamt 5 Stunden lang (!!!) konzentriert ein aufwendiges Adult-Coloring-Bild ausgemalt hat! Ein Junge, der bislang ungern und nie länger als 20 Min höchstens gemalt hat. Jetzt wünscht er sich ein eigenes Set zu Weihnachten. Und er hat schon wieder gefragt, wann er das nächste Mal zum Malen kommen darf...Alle Stifte funktionieren, keiner leer. Bitte dran denken, dass sich manche erst "einmalen" müssen bei Erstbenutzung. Blending mit ähnlichen Farbtönen funktioniert. Die Glitzer- und Metallicfarben tun das auch noch wenn sie getrocknet sind: Farben sind dann nur etwas weniger intensiv.2 Kappen sind kaputtgegangen. Aber das ist eher dem Handling eines 7-jährigen geschuldet als schlechter Qualität: sie werden zwar dafür auch vermarktet, es sind jedoch KEINE Stifte speziell für Kinder! Estos bolígrafos de gel son muy buenos y no se atascan siempre y cuando no se usen sobre líneas previamente hechas con lápiz de grafito o tiza ya que en este caso se ensucia la punta y no corren bien. Si se usan sobre superficies de plástico demoran un poco en secar, en cambio si se usan sobre láminas de dibujo lisas o con algo de rugosidad se secan más rápido. Por lo demás me han encantado, sobretodo por la variedad de colores, lo cual me viene súper bien para mis proyectos de dibujo e ilustración.
