This sourdough kit was a fantastic gift! My friend used it to bake an adorable bunny shaped loaf for Easter. We enjoyed it for brunch. It had a perfect crusty exterior, a soft interior, and just the right amount of sour. She mentioned it was significantly easier than making sourdough from scratch. It's a really cool gift for anyone who enjoys baking.

During the pandemic we did a lot of sourdough breads and it was delicious. After awhile though it became hard for us to maintain our starter. We’d go through spurts of making bread and because we got so busy it was more infrequent and would take longer to reawaken the starter.I love that this kit is no fuss. Obviously it costs more than doing a starter but if you don’t have the time to waste and just want sourdough when you want it, this is perfect for you. I had no idea something like this existed before this. I don’t like to cook and not a big baker. This is super convenient and easy to follow.The flours themselves are high quality and organic and make good bread.

This is a high quality sourdough kit with enough ingredients to make four loaves. The kit comes presented nicely in a box that would make it the perfect gift for anyone you know who likes to bake. It was easy and fun to prepare with good instructions. The sourdough bread tasted great! I like that this kit is made in the US by a company in the San Francisco Bay Area. I think the price is fair for the quality of the kit and ingredients.

My only experience making bread was to simply use a bread machine, so doing it with a yeast starter and making sourdough was a new experience for me. Everything was simple enough to follow along with. You'll need to make sure you actually have the tools required to make this, please don't assume you can just make bread with what's in the box.It takes a few days to actually "get" bread from this, but it's clearly stated so it's not like a surprise. The bread was great and tasted like good sourdough. No complaints!
