Exactly what I wanted! Fits perfectly with my LG Gram 16, and 16" USB C 4K Portable monitor. Travels easily too.

Stand works nicely and is sturdy, but it is bulky for travel purposes. The box is 10.5” x 11” x 2”.It is that bulky due to the hooks/ clamps for the monitor. (Pic is the flattened view with the box, stand flattened on top and batteries for height reference. I kept the packing foam to keep the clamps from catching in my bag.)

I've been looking for such a gadget to prop up my portable monitor while getting along with a laptop. Every other portable monitor stand is usually a type of cradle or a clamp. The design here stands out among the rest.The practicality of this type of stand, however, is only as reliable as you can make it out to be. Being top heavy, it doesn't inspire a lot of confidence when the base itself isn't stable. I feel as though I'd be more inclined to use this in a more controlled environment than in a public place. A wobbly table is a great way to ruin your day if this thing topples over. I think the design would be improved if the base allowed for a laptop to rest on top of it to add its weight to it while remaining as light and portable already. A way to lock the fold out stand mechanism would be great as well. There's no height adjustment here. Only tilting is possible. It's a shame for laptops/tablets under way under 10" in height where you'd have a gap from your display to the portable monitor or over 11-12" tall where your laptop clips the bottom of the portable screen.That said, I've no doubt on its portability. Keep it in a carry case to pad and prevent damaging other devices you're packing them in. It makes a great companion to take with you on, say, a conference trip where you can work out of a hotel. I wouldn't take this to a coffee shop where it can be bumped on by accident.I'm currently using this on my PC test bed with my portable monitor and I'm happy with the flexibility of the setup.

Excellent lightweight and durable stand. I purchased this to hold my iPad behind my laptop and it is perfect. I appreciate that I don’t have to crane my neck or constantly turn to the side to look at another screen. The stand doesn’t take up much space (great for a small workspace) and it is easy to fold up and transport. Overall, it is well-constructed and you can’t beat the portability.

This is a good idea, but it needs some sort of counter weight or clamp to balance out the monitor on top. I have a 17 travel monitor so its also possible that my monitor is too big for the unit.

Really stable, even with the monitor on.Glad I found this.I use a small hand weight on the base just to make sure that the high center of gravity doesn't work against me.

So let me start off by saying I used to be out on different job sites every day. Sometimes I'd be at three job sites in one day, each one with its' own problem. I ordered a portable monitor because sometimes you need that extra screen space. The problem I always have is that I'm working in smaller areas, with a portable table and a folding chair. Sometimes I have parts on the desk too... It gets to be a bit much.I'd been looking for an alternative way to have my second screen. I've used a smaller 'magnetic attached monitor' from another brand, which did the job all right, but had power issues for me, and overall just wasn't reliable enough. I needed something a little bigger, but that wouldn't be a power hog or that I'd have the ability to add power to. I found a nice 15.6" portable monitor at first, then a 16" portable monitor shortly after, so I could expand and work with ease. But, then came the problem of "where do I put this thing?"...Enter this nice little folding stand. So as I said, I used to be mobile all the time. I'm less so now; however, it still comes into play from time to time. So having anything I need/want to carry around with me that can fold up and fit in my computer bag is almost a requirement. Now, with all the generic info above, let me give you the flat-out truth. This thing is awesome! It is easy to set up (it folds out really easily), it's easy to use (once set up, you just leave it sitting there...), and it works very well.By design, this monitor stand lets you stack the monitor above your laptop, removing the requirement of more desk space to the side. It takes ~ 5" behind the monitor, but it's worth every bit of it. I could not recommend this enough.

The concept is good, but the design is lacking on stability. It securely holds a tablet of different sizes, which is great. The main issue is when you have a tablet so high up with little to no weight on the bottom, one little bump will knock it over. I know this for a fact when my cat brushed by the stand and my tablet went flying. I am using heavy speakers to add weight to the back (see photos). I see this as a major design flaw. With that said, if you need this for travel, this will work well on a flat surface, like a hotel desk. I wouldn't trust using this in a public space. It also lacks a travel case. Overall, the concept is great, it's well-made regarding materials but poorly designed for stability.
